Are there grocery stores on the Island?

Sanibel has two full-service grocery stores, Bailey's (www.baileys-sanibel.com) and Jerry's (www.jerrysfoods.com), as well as several convenience stores. Jerry’s offers a service which can have all your shopping needs and delivery taken care of prior to arrival, allowing you to get to the beach sooner! You may reach them for details at 239-472-9300.

Is daily maid service provided?

Daily maid service is not provided, but can be arranged at an additional charge. This service can be set up prior to your arrival through our housekeeping and maintenance department.

What do the units include?

All units are individually owned and decorated. All units will include basic kitchen items such as a toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans and cooking utensils. All units also include linens, iron and ironing board, and with a washer and dryer in the unit or available on-site. We provide you with a basic "starter" kit. This kit will NOT last your entire stay, but will help you get started until you can get to the store. The starter kit includes bath soap, toilet and facial tissue, a roll of paper towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent and garbage bags.

We highly recommend that you bring your own beach towels and accessories, as we cannot guarantee that these items will be provided in the unit. Beach chairs and other beach equipment may be ordered through our office prior to your arrival.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, most property owners and condominium associations do not allow pets. Guests found with unauthorized pets will be asked to leave and will forfeit all funds paid. Ask us which units do accept pets.

Can I bring my boat, waverunner, or camper?

Parking is limited to automobiles only at most resorts and condominium complexes. Trailers and other recreational vehicles are strictly prohibited. Please contact our offices prior to traveling to make alternate arrangements or storage for such items.

What if I need to conduct business during my vacation?

Sanibel Holiday offers an array of business services, including complimentary guest Internet access located in a dedicated office. This allows our guests the ability to send e-mail or conduct a conference call in private. We also have fax and mail service available. Please be sure to have any mail or packages sent to you in care of Sanibel Holiday at our office address.

Can I make long distance calls or access the Internet with my laptop computer?

All local, 800 and 911 calls, are available at no charge. Long distance calls may be made with a credit card or calling card.

Modem access is available for those wishing to utilize a laptop computer. Additional information will be available in your unit once you arrive.
