We so enjoyed the private road that led to the modern lodging ending at the beautiful gulf. The only noise was the sound of the waves. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was modeled with beach colors as well as all the living space. We had ample beach equipment and the cabana was a great storage area. I even took a bike ride and had many bikes to choose from! The pool was very refreshing and very private. We will definitely be back next year!

This spacious & comfortable gulf front home was as described. The communication with the owner and property manager was superb! We received several “insider” tips from the gracious property owner which were quite helpful. The pool was a lovely plus which was very well maintained! Sanibel Island is paradise!

This place is awesome and it’s right there on the beach. The unit is beautiful and comfortable. There is no complaint about this unit at all. I love it there and wished I had onto leave early to my pet sitter having a medical emergency.

We rented this property strictly because of the views and its location, and the reviews are spot on. Jim is a super and thoughtful host from directions to place to eat and things to do. The place was clean and had comfortable beds. The view and location was awesome and quiet. Great time for sure. Stop browsing and come here its that easy.

Golden Beach #4 is perfect for our family. WThe property has been completely renovated since Hurricane Ian and is spacious and has all the amenities you need. The best part is, the property sits right on the beach!

The unit is spacious and minutes from the beach. At the end of the street so was very quiet. The quantity and quality of the beach chairs, umbrellas etc. was the best of any unit we've stayed in. Had a couple of issues which were addressed promptly by the owner and realtor. Liked it so much we booked for next year.

Very well appointed, clean, and well situated property! Had a few questions and owner texted back promptly. We enjoyed our week there and are looking forward to a return trip already (we just got home 2 days ago). Kitchen is nice, and all rooms show great pride of ownership. My favorite chair looked out to the beach. Easy 2 minute trek to the water. Pool looked great and the neighbor condo renters used a bit. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Great stay , lovely setting. Nice to have 3 bedrooms . Pool was great never busy. The garage was full of great beach gear, umbrellas, chairs, bikes, fishing poles, sand toys and pool floaters. We had a fantastic time. Only one small thing drain in bathroom a little slow and kitchen could use some upgrades and baking pans. Otherwise fabulous!!!

There were five of us (plus 2 small dogs) down for our 12th year in Sanibel/Captiva. The condo was exactly as advertised. Lots of space, great location near many restaurants, grocery stores, and best of all...The beach.
Everything worked well at the facility & we had no issues. Every step of the way (from check-in to check-out) was easy.
I would highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing vacay in the Golden Beach #4, check in was easy and friendly. The condo had plenty of beach chairs, bikes, a wagon and a beach cart, plus sand toys for the kids! The layout was great, view was gorgeous, pool was smaller but perfect as there are only 4 condos using it. Quite honestly we rent condos on beaches all over multiple times a year and I can usually find something to complain about, and the only thing missing in the whole week was the coffee table glass top! (which the previous renters broke and it wasnt able to get replaced while we were there) but that was not missed in comparison to everything else that this condo has to offer!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The condo was spotlessly clean, even the furniture fabric- In a pet friendly beach rental that regularly sustains sunblock sweat stains and dog paws to boot! The owner called us to make sure we were comfortable and had many good suggestions for restaurants and activities. The management company immediately dropped by to provide us with the HDMI cable someone must have walked off with.
The condo itself has been updated along the way with some wonderful improvements some of the others in the complex do not have. By enclosing the balcony, the living room becomes very open and large, with a grand view of the water. On mild days, you can slide the entire wall open so the whole living space becomes one massive balcony. We miss that view. I always appreciate being able to cook while still being a part of the living room action, which the layout provides as well.
On the first floor, the garage keeps the car nice and cool. You have to open SUV back doors outside of the garage so you don't hit the raised garage door, but this is understandable in a beach condo that was built before those types of cars were made. The washing machines are the right size for beach towels. And there is a separate wet room directly behind the garage that has been enclosed, which opens onto the deck facing the beach. This room was extra helpful in giving us places to put beach stuff! The deck also has multiple washdown hoses and a shell rinsing station. The whole setup really helped to keep sand out of the main house.
By mid afternoon, the pool is mostly shaded so we could hop in without glopping on a bunch sunblock. The condo is located on a calm, quiet, beautiful residential street. Both grocery stores are just down the road. The beach was lovely, with lots of smaller shells and various wildlife. We had everything we needed and never wanted to leave.

Jim contacted us when we made the reservation & after we got there to make sure everything was Ok. He also gave restaurant suggestions & info about Sanibel. The property is right on the beach. It has a lovely pool & deck area. It’s the little things that make this place special. The owner provides awesome beach chairs to use, umbrellas, a wagon to take your stuff to the beach, & there were even some floats. He also has beach towels available to use. We used the bicycles he provides quite a bit since there are trails over the whole island. I would definitely recommend this rental!

There were ants that we had to get some repellent. And the steps were a bit much to take luggage up 3 flights but once we got it up we were fine.

Golden Beach really does have it all....3 bedrooms (2 of which are set up as Masters with Gulf Front views!), 3 bathrooms at a incredibly small 4 unit property. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you could possible need for your beach vacation with an incredibly well stocked garage full of beach equipment. The only thing this property is missing is are absolutely correct! Ghost Ants are a common pest on Sanibel but I hope the bait provided sent them packing quickly! Please make sure we are aware a unit with an elevator is your preference next time so we can provide you with the perfect options for your Sanibel stay!

We stayed for a week in Golden Beach #4. We loved the views from the living space and the master bedroom. It was magical to sleep hearing the ocean every night. I liked the fact that there was a second master with a second king bed. The third bedroom is small but would be fine for two small children. We loved our stay here.

Golden Beach 4 is by far the best rental we've enjoyed on Sanibel Island, and we've been vacationing there for the last 40 years. The location is just unbelievable - right on the beach with incredible views - you can hear the waves crashing on the beach in the evening. You practically have the pool to yourself. The property has recently been beautifully remodeled and is very well maintained. Golden Beach 4 is part of a 4-condo complex at the end of a very quiet residential street. The property management company was very good. The owner called on our first day to make sure we were happy and that everything was in order - he really cares whether you're having a good time and makes suggestions of things to do and places to go. We were so impressed that we've made arrangements to go back next year!!

This was a sisters vacation husbands the first week, just sisters the second. We had a ball the water was warm the shells were plenty. The townhouse was great there was more that enough room. The owner had beach chairs and also beach towels for use, this place had everything we could of needed. Restaurants close plenty of parking. The owner stays in touch to make sure everything is good. Sanibel Holiday responded very professionally and quickly when the air conditioner in our unit broke on check-in day. The unit itself was very clean and modern. Slight negatives were that the charcoal grill was dirty, the bike was rusty and had leaking tires, some umbrellas were broken, no privacy blinds in the windows facing the ocean so we had to keep it dark every night (sea turtle ordinance). But altogether we had a wonderful vacation right on the beach.

We stayed 7 days in July and enjoyed every minute. The condo was just like you see in the pictures. Very clean and well kept, plus there were beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toys galore! The condo is situated in a great location and is in short driving distance to all shops and restaurants. Mr. Heckert was pleasure to rent from and provided us "newbies to the island" with great suggestions on restaurants, groceries, and things to do. 2 weeks in April 2018 just wasn't long enough. I wish we could have stayed longer, but reality awaits us all. Golden Beach 4 was just perfect for my family of 5. The unit was very accommodating for all our needs...easy side access to the back, plenty of quality beach chairs/umbrellas/towels, bikes. The only downside was the washer&dryer was located in the garage; but manageable. Wish it had gas grill instead of charcoal because we love to grill out. I would definitely rent this unit again. Thank you for a great & relaxing stay!

Sanibel is one of our favorite vacations spots. Our stay at Golden Beach 4 was just perfect. The views right on the beach were gorgeous! Our daughters loved the pool - never crowded and shared by only 4 units. The owner has completed some nice updates to the bathrooms. We had everything we needed in the unit from the kitchen to the three bikes provided to beach chairs and beach towels. I understand even more updates are coming to the outside Beach walk and pool deck. The owner and the management company both called the second day we were there to make sure everything was to our liking. Would definitely stay here again. Location on the island was perfect.

We had a fantastic week on Sanibel... highs in the mid 80s and sunny all week save one afternoon of clouds. Property is very well kept, clean, and provided many unadvertised extras like buckets, nets, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Fantastic, private location at the end of a short dead end road. Great beach, plentiful shells, not crowded (even on weekends). Owner Jim offered advice on restaurants, etc. and was very friendly. Hit the farmers' market on Sunday morning for the weeks' groceries... a great idea from the property management company.

The townhouse is spacious and offers everything you need for a great and relaxed holiday. The shared pool become a somewhat meeting point for the kids (also from our neighbors) and they spent hours playing there together.

We were in Sanibel for a family reunion. 13 of us had rented two homes. 6 of us were in Golden Beach 4 and 7 were in an old but renovated house a couple miles down the beach. We were happy in our rental and had, for the most part, everything we needed. It is definitely a rental, though, and not someone's home that is rented out. The views from the living room and 2 bedrooms are fantastic and you're right on the beach. The two upper floors are separated from the extra room on the first floor and can only be accessed from the outside. Most of the furniture seems new but some aspects are definitely worn. We would still consider coming back to this unit.
