This year’s stay at Sanibel couldn’t have been any better. The condo at Kings Crown is very lovely and offered a great view of the beach each and every day. Loved both sunrises and sunsets. The Sanibel Holiday Team is very professional and always concerned that our stay was perfect!

The unit is very nice and we would likely rent again if available. Things to fix are <br/>1) the master bed mattress is shot and was quite a disappointment. <br/>2) The main hall light fixtures hang down to maybe a 6 foot clearance. I am 6 foot 6 and this was highly annoying and dangerous. Either go with wall sconces, get very low profile LED fixtures or have cans that stick into the AC ducts overhead. <br/>3) I know moving the toilet soil pipe over 15 inches would be a huge pain, but that would make the master bath shower much much much better than the narrow tunnel there now. Really should have been done when the bath was refurbished.<br/>4) looks like the folding door to the utility closet has off the tracks for a looonnnggg time

We have visited Sanibel many times over that last 20 years and stayed in various condos on that beach front. A few niggles needed to be sorted out right at the start and they were quickly dealt with by Sanibel Holidays. However we felt that the property could be improved with a few more items to make it look less like a rental only property:-<br/><br/>1. The living area lighting needs improving. The desk light gives off dim light. The dining area would benefit from a floor lamp and a picture on the wall.<br/><br/>2. The condo was clean apart from the louvred doors and the door surround on the air conditioning unit which were covered in fluff. Perhaps the AC unit needs a service and filters changed. How cleaners didn't notice it I do not know. I would describe the place as surface clean and that perhaps a deep clean would not go amiss. Some of the equipment in the drawers and cupboards is of a very basic level. for such a condo. The vacuum cleaner was clogged up which may be because, as I understand it, the carpets were fairly new.<br/><br/>3. A change of bed linen for the beds would have been useful as we were there for a month.<br/><br/>4. The beach cupboard could do with being tidied as there a few broken chairs in it.<br/><br/>5. TV needs updating. Other places that we have stayed in have more programme selection including Netflix.<br/><br/>Having said all of the above it hasn't stopped us from booking again for the same 4 week period next year. The prime location of the unit, probably one of the best on the island, is more important than the points that I have mentioned. We know that the unit for sale but that should not mean that there is no further upgrading. If bookings are being taken then it ought to be kept in tip top condition.<br/><br/>Finally, I would like to say that Sanibel Holidays were very good indeed and dealt with our requests very expeditiously

been coming for years, this is a great location, best on the island. Grounds are well kept, pool is nice and everyone is pleasant. Sanibel Holiday is a pleasure to work with so accommodating and professional.

This was an interesting year with a significant Red Tide presence around the island. Sanibel Island did an amazing job working to keep the beach clear of dead sea life (a very challenging job). Fishing was "non-existent" compared to normal which was frustrating but nothing that Sanibel Holiday or the city of Sanibel could do. As far as our accommodations, they were great as usual and the staff at Sanibel Holiday are always a pleasure to work with. Hopefully next year will be better!

was very helpful in arranging our rental condo during our two week stay in Sanibel. They were prompt with all of their communications and everything was organized and easy to understand. They were wonderful about answering all the (hundreds) of questions I had. They were always quick, professional and cheerful. The place was gorgeous and very clean. It was also much larger than we expected. It was just as it said in the listing - a gorgeous beach view! When we arrive we were given a super helpful packet by the agency that helped us secure bike rentals, know where the farmers market was, and much more. We are already planning our stay for next year!

Absolutely the perfect location, Sanibel Holiday is a dream to work with, great staff. Have stayed here many years now and while the new patio furniture is nice we so missed the table and chairs, that was our gathering place most of the day, we have had many meals while watching the dolphins play in the gulf, regrettable this year we could not do that. Many great times there, now with two chairs and a lounge, its doesn't lend itself to great conversations or accommodating more than 2 of us. So miss this, please consider changing. The unit advertises sleeps 6 but only 2 would be able to use the porch at the same time for conversation, we didn't use the lounge at all. Otherwise we have appreciated the updates to your unit over the past couple of years, the kitchen and baths are lovely, but again we stay for the location. Thank you for allowing others to enjoy your unit, we love this vacation.
