We have stayed in this unit for several years and have been very happy with the rental process and the unit itself. It's very well-equipped and has an absolutely beautiful view and is steps from the beach. Ww also like the location of Loggerhead Cay on Sanibel. Sanibel Holiday is very professional and a pleasure to work with- great customer service!

We just returned from three lovely weeks in Sanibel and can’t wait to return. One of the nicest parts of the vacation was having a comfortable place to stay. As pet owners, sometimes you have to make compromises about where to stay based on what’s open to you. As somewhat fussy travelers, we’d be happy staying here even if we didn’t have pets. We knew after a few days that we’d be returning and hope very much we’re able to stay in the exact same place.

Only one item on the check list for future guests - recommend changing the mattress in the master bedroom. Sagging a great deal - NO NOT USE THIS ON MY REVIEW. Place is exactly what we wanted.

Very clean, nicely furnished, love ground level, walk out to beach, good chairs and umbrellas, couldn’t locate the bikes so we rented from Billy’s, all new kitchen gear. Took a minute to figure out the dual coffee maker

I was in unit 151. It was very clean for which I was extremely thankful! The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. My condo looked and felt very beachy. Kitchen was amply supplied for cooking and for storing leftovers. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Had a wonderful stay even though the first couple of days we had a tropical storm/Hurrican Debby pass through.That was an interesting experience to say the least!

Loggerhead is a great location and one of the only properties almost fully operational in Sanibel right now. Unit 151 is close to the beach, which is very important to us, comes with new beach equipment and lots of beach towels (we brought our own but good to know for the future). The kitchen is fully equipped (we cook almost every day, so that’s important for us as well... just needs more dish towels), and even has a slow cooker (didn’t use it but I love brought my own in the past). Loggerhead had staff on property as well, allowing to borrow pickle ball paddles as I left ours at home. They received Amazon packages for other family members and had security on property. No complaints and we would definitely stay here again.

I was worried booking so soon after Ian but this Unit was spectacular. Everything was newly remodeled, fully equipped, steps to beach with spectacular view. Very few Units were ready at the complex. Owner was very responsive and great to work with. Only complaint was the pool was cold, they started heating it up, but too late for our stay.
5 star Unit. 3 star property (Loggerhead Cay) only because there is still a lot of construction work being done after Ian. The Unit was very clean. 5 star. The property is still in construction phase. I was very fortunate to rent this Unit, exceeded expectations . Absolutely beautiful!

We stayed at this property at Loggerhead Cay for the first time last year. We enjoyed it so much we came back again this year. The location of the condo is directly between the pool and the beach. The ground floor makes it super convenient. The condo is well stocked with beach items and a wagon to haul everything. Four bikes are also provided. The kitchen is also well equipped for you to make your own meals. Having a washer and dryer makes it very convenient. The property managers and the owner of the condo both called to follow up to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns. The fan on the lanai originally wasn't working and it was taken care of immediately.

We were very unhappy with all the construction going on, as we were not informed ahead of time. It was not a relaxing two week vacation as planned. It was also infested with Roaches and I'm guessing that was due to all the construction. Place is decent...not as nice and up to date as pictures describe. Best part is the location, but we will not stay here again.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath pet friendly suited our needs just right for a beach stay with the walkout patio. Coming from out of state, we wanted to pack light and many beach supplies were already there, such as towels, and great beach chairs and floaties. I was, however, disappointed in the wagon that had taken on too much rust to risk using as well as the hand mixer. A few updates to the blender & hand mixer and the tiny toaster to a toaster oven wood make this place ideal. We were limited with what we could cook due to that otherwise all other kitchen supplies were there from dishes to pots and pans.
Jim was very attentive and checked on us to make sure we found the place and got in okay. Overall we were pleased and would recommend

My wife ,two daughters and our miniature poodle Elvis had a fantastic week at Loggerhead Cay condominiums. We had the pleasure of staying at Jim’s place which exceeded our expectations. His place had all the amenities you could ever need for the perfect beach vacation. In fact, I mentioned that one of the beach umbrellas had broken and Jim had two delivered within an hour !! Now that’s a Super !! Host !! Can’t wait to return to this piece of paradise.

The beach access and views can't be beat in this Gulf-front, ground level unit. The owner has also made sure to provide everything you could possibly need for the perfect beach getaway. He guarantees beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and 2 bikes for your use and goes so far as to have HBO and a Keurig with 6 pods to get you started. It is even dog friendly as long as they do not exceed the 25 lb limit (1 dog only).

This was our second time staying in this condo over the Christmas
holiday. We found the checking process easy, the condo is in great shape and provided a great landing pad for our holidays. We just got back from a weeks stay over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time! The unit is clean, neat and has everything you need. Including, a nice walkout to the beach. You can sit on the sofa and watch the sun rise. We would stay here again. Thanks!

The rental was just as described and was exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed fishing at the Lighthouse Pier and the many beaches. Also the pool area was nice. The only thing the gas grills were too far away from the unit.

We had a fabulous week long vacation in Sanibel. Jim's condo is absolutely the perfect location to enjoy the beach, visit the shops, and sights, take a dip in the pool, and relax in then relax in condo. We took just a few quick steps and we had our toes in the sand and listening to the waves. Being on the ground floor made it easy to load and unload suitcases right outside our front door. Parking was close to the front door, so no need to try to find the car or your designated parking spot. We visited the Ding Darling nature preserve and saw a mama raccoon with 3 babies, numerous birds including a bald eagle, and 2 dolphins playing and feeding. Well worth the $5. per car fee. We went to the Periwinkle shops and found some unique art, and we visited the light house and light house beach. We ate at the ever so fun, Island Cow, Doc Fords, Jerrys Market and Cafe, and a wide variety of other delicious restaurants. So much fun squeezed into one week. Jim.s Loggerhead Cay was our solace at the end of each busy fun filled day! ( Sept was a great time to visit.... no crowds and great weather!)

For those that are interested in a guided experience I recommend the "tram tour". The guides are incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants and so much more and spot many things most of us would miss if they were not along for the ride. The Periwinkle Shops have something for everyone including a playground, beautiful fountains, Blue Giraffe restaurant and is home of the original Chico's! September on Sanibel can feel like you have the island all to yourself, just be prepared to some restaurants to be closed at times (this is their time to take a break or make improvements). The condo is a wonderful ground floor walkout to beach and pool! The condo looks like it’s pictures. It had everything we needed, from beach chairs, umbrella, to a fully stocked kitchen! The owner and Sanibel Holiday are friendly and do everything to make sure your stay is Fantastic! The condo is beach friendly, as no carpet, walk out to the beach, has both taller beach chairs and sand chairs, buckets, shovel, shelling bags, 2 skim boards and umbrella! Pack your fishing pole as we had fun catching fish off the beach! Just relax and enjoy!

We have now stayed in two units at Loggerhead Cay and seen maybe 4 others. 151 is in building 1 which has superior gulf views and morning sun so you don’t get baked in the pm. Tv has streaming capacity for our Netflix etc viewing. Sanibel Holiday people are wonderful and bend over backward for their vacationers with papers and free fruit over the holidays

The condo is very roomy and as stated is very close to the beach and pool. The tennis courts and grills are a bit of a hike if you are interested in those.
Even though it was just the two of us the layout provides enough room to sleep six. Two would need to use the pull out sofa, if needed.
Jim provides beach equipment, umbrellas, chairs and shelling tools. One chair was broken but there were enough for us.
We didn’t cook during our stay but everything worked. We did enjoy the Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen utensils could be replaced as most of the sharp knives were rusty.
This was our first time on Sanibel and we acted like typical tourist.
Jim provides restaurant recommendations and they didn’t disappoint.
Couple of our favs were Doc Fords, Island Cow and Mucky Ducks. Thank you for sharing your condo with us Jim, we will definitely be back.

after the "Irma" saga of a hurricane, we were able to finally make it to our Paradise here on earth. What a wonderful, relaxing time! Loggerhead Cay 151 has our vote! The unit is very well stocked to cook any meal or any size of meal for any size of family! Mr. Jim has done a wonderful job keeping it stocked & full of ALL the "have too's" for each meal and the prep thereof! Our bed was the most comfortable i've been in on a trip, sofa was even worth an afternoon nap for the hubby. The overall space in the condo was & is always a plus. Mr. Jim has also updated the bathroom counters (pictures do not reflect the new granite as of yet 10-9-17) but they look fabulous! Mr. Jim also provides all beach supplies = chairs, umbrellas, buckets, beach towels, shelling shovel, etc. and it's just the PERFECT location to the beach, which made each morning at daybreak just a few steps to the most perfect beach to see just what the ocean had deposited on the white sand for us to share. The grounds at loggerhead continue from year to year to out-do any by far! Just knowing how many people visit each condo, I am VERY PLEASED at the effort this owner takes in his home away from home for others to enjoy! (Mr. Jim should be the instructor of a "how to be a good owner" class") He is very pleasant & willing to assist in any way! He also has lots of knowledge of the island as well!!

We love Sanibel & Thank God each time we can share in its beauty!

The condo unit was very nice and clean. Really close to the beach and pool. The condo complex is very well maintained. All in all, a very nice time. Make sure to rent bikes, the complex is just a short ride from the center of the island with restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed the easy access to both the large pool and the beach. Our apartment had most everything we needed which was important as we cooked all of our dinners there.
