Sanibel Island is absolutely beautiful. The condo we rented had a pond view and gulf view. The condo was beautiful and very well maintained. You couldn’t ask for more. The owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable.

The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need to cook great meals if you want to. Dave the owner is very responsive if you have a question/issue. I would highly recommend unit 226.

Especially this year my two daughters , one granddaughter, and I truly enjoyed our stay at 226. Weather was great, the beach called us from sunrise to sunset. The condo was clean , comfortable and well appointed. Plan on returning next year. Sanibel is one of our favorite islands.

Great 2 bedroom condo with ocean view. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of extras from binoculars to puzzles and games and just about everything you would need in a kitchen. Fast response to a problem I experienced with the washer. 6 beach towels. Extra bath towels.
The only thing I would like improved is the outdoor lighting. No light above the door so at night you had to “feel” the key pad to the condo. Also very minimal lights in the parking garage. Arrived late on a rainy night. If I didn’t have the flashlight from my cell, I would have been in trouble.

We have stayed at this location multiple times before over the years and not much has changed, The unit is well equipped and fairly clean but unfortunately is in need of an upgrade and TLC, especially the furniture is showing its age. The washing machine and master bath had some mold. We love this condo complex due to the proximity to the beach, Tarpon Bay and restaurants. The condo complex itself is well maintained.

We stayed for a week in mid February. Very lucky with weather. Enjoyed the volunteer wildlife that visited the little decorative pond in the center of the landscape.
The pool was perfect.
Surprisingly few guest for mid February, maybe because of Covid, and really appreciated the lack of noisy children playing in the pool. It was extremely peaceful.
Although we did not explore many shops and restaurants, they were very close by and the location on the island would make it ideal.

This was our 4th trip to Sand Pointe #226. Excellent accommodations, only 45 units in the entire building so it's never really busy which is great nowadays. Close proximity to stores, restaurants and beautiful beaches. See you next year!

The facilities are kept very neat and clean, and the condo itself is better than we could have hoped for. The only suggestions I have are to update the beach chairs... your options are to sit straight up or lug an old fashioned one around. I would also add travel mugs so you can carry your coffee or water down with you to the beach.

Sand Pointe is a wonderful condominium complex on West Gulf Drive around the corner from Tarpon Bay Rd. 4 minutes by car to Doc Ford's and Bailey's General Store and Periwinkle way.
A short easy walk to the beach, with the pool along the way.Very peaceful, very quiet.
Unit 226 was great. Clean, very nicely furnished,wonderful modern kitchen(no need for bottled water; the refrigerator dispenses filtered water for you)with every imaginable cooking utensil and accessory you need.
Large balcony that opens from the master bedroom and the living room.
We look forward to returning next year.

We've stayed at this condo in the past and it was as enjoyable this time as the last time we were here. The condo was spotless upon arrival, and welcoming. There were ample towels for the condo as well as for the beach. The amenities were great - a coffee grinder would be a welcome addition. The pool was always clean and the beach was wonderful for sunning as well as shelling. I would highly recommend this condo if you want a wonderful experience!

Great unit overlooking the lagoon. Saw the alligator,iguanas, turtles, birds and bunnies. Great pool!!! Beach was good...found shells. Condo was very well stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals. Condo is very comfortable as are the beds. 3 TVs. Elevator near the room and grocery carts to help loading and unloading items. Restaurants near...Sanibel Fish House..a must do. Great seafood. Will definitely return...but in a cooler month. Left 2 days early as Hurricane Dorian was bearing down on us...had to get back to Virginia safely. I still miss the peaceful view from the screened balcony. Really...you will love this condo. Staff at Sanibel Holiday are super.

You get full view of the condo grounds and ocean from the full length balcony that stretches the length of the condo. Keep in the mind the condo sits at the back of the property so you are not directly on the ocean but still have a view and walk is short comparted to most condos on Sanibel. Pool is nothing fancy but always clean and well kept. Parking is underneath the condo so car stays relatively cool in the heat of the day. This condo has a storage closet under the other building that has plenty of beach items, chairs, loungers, boogie boards, umbrella, sand toys, etc. On our visit kitchen had salt and pepper, plastic wrap, foil, sandwich baggies, and kurig coffee packets, along with dishwasher detergent and soap, laundry soap, and starter pack of TP and paper towel and bath soap. Keyless entry makes it great for not worrying about keys while at the beach. The only negative we experienced was the all day groundswork on Memorial day from the neighboring condo and then the next day from this condo but only in the morning. The location is great as it it basically in the middle of Sanibel so an equally easy drive to the lighthouse beach and fishing peir as well as the blind pass beaches and capitva.

This was our first trip to Sanibel Island and we felt we had the perfect place to enjoy our stay. Every room was beautifully decorated and the granite and SS kitchen was lovely and well equipped. We enjoyed the screened lanai overlooking the lagoon (with alligator!) and the view to the Gulf. Since it is a smaller complex, the beach was never crowded and we enjoyed the clear bluegreen water and wonderful shelling every day. We’re definitely hoping to return again next year!

We walked into the unit and we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. It was one of the cleanest and most updated units we ever stayed in. It was decorated beautifully. It was stocked with everything we needed. The location was beautiful and very quiet (of course it was off season). The whole property was well taken care of. The rental management company was very helpful and would answer any questions we had. They would make sure we were satisfied. When we come back again we want to book this unit. The beach for the first 3 days of our stay was very much affected by the red tide. Dean sea life was abundant each day which wasn't the most pleasant but crews cleaned morning and evening to remove. By the 4th day the water was much clearer and almost no smell so swimming and shelling were amazing.
We had a beautiful view of the lagoon and gulf from the condo. Even got to see the alligator on our last full day there. The condo has everything you could want or need. The addition of the washer/dryer was very helpful and the dvds were a nice addition for the rainy afternoons. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. Would definitely recommend Sand Pointe!
We had a beautiful view of the lagoon and gulf from the condo. Even got to see the alligator on our last full day there. The condo has everything you could want or need. The addition of the washer/dryer was very helpful and the dvds were a nice addition for the rainy afternoons. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. Would definitely recommend Sand Pointe!

This was one of our best vacations! I love that the island was not commercialized! No fast food restaurants, No crazy beach shops, just relaxation. Even with the red tide, the beach was great! The city kept things cleaned up. A few dead fish but not enough to ruin the water. Shells were plentiful. The shell museum was a worth while experience for my kjds 17 and 13. Hope to return next year.

Property was great! Very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Owner was responsive to an AC issue and was fixed quickly. Loved the full size washer/dryer. With 4 kids, it was a big help to wash beach towels and swim suits. Beach was close & quiet, great shelling, and Sanibel Thriller boat tour was major highlight - saw lots of dolphins! Enjoyed ice cream at Love Boar, Pinochios and Latte Da. Would definitely reco Sanibel and this condo!

We loved the property & location except for the following three things:
1. Carpet was dirty. Needs to be replaced, cleaned or tile installed.
2. No barbeque grill provided.
3. Most concerning, there is no night latch for main entry. Our 3 year old granddaughter was able to open the door. This caused great consternation, especially during the night. I highly recommend you take action on this matter to reduce your liability.

The owners of this condo have thought of everything. From beach towels and chairs to top of the line kitchen equipment. We really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 5 and fit comfortably. Beach is a short walk along boardwalk, pool was kept clean, and complex grounds are beautifully maintained. Sanibel Island is a great community with many restaurants and natural attractions to enjoy. We biked the island and enjoyed walking the miles of beach collecting sea shells. We hope to return. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We made a lot of great memories. We had a great week at Sand Pointe 226. The condo is very well equipt and has a lovely view of the Gulf. The lock box on the door is a real plus. No need to wait for a key at the real estate office. There is plenty of covered parking and a separate storage area with everything needed for the beach. The appliances were first rate and the kitchen was very well outfitted. A great place to stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

With only 45 units, it is located on West Gulf Drive on a less populated section of the beach away from public access areas. Unit #226 has a panoramic direct view of the Gulf of Mexico across the pool and a picturesque lagoon. Ibis and other wild birds love to forage along the banks of the lagoon. You can enjoy this beautiful vista from the large screened-in lanai, which spans the entire width of the condo, as well as from the living room, dining area, kitchen, and primary bedroom.
Following the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian, Sand Pointe #226 was completely renovated, from beautiful luxury vinyl flooring to paint on the walls to all-new furnishings. The gorgeous gourmet kitchen sports quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, a movable center island, and all the utensils required to make cooking easy for the vacationing cook.
The primary bedroom opens to the lanai and offers a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico. The ensuite bathroom has a wide dual-sink vanity and a separate adjoining room with a walk-in shower and commode. The guest bathroom, with a combo tub/shower, is just steps away from the guest bedroom.
Other amenities that Sand Pointe #226 offers are Wi-Fi, three TVs, including a 65-inch smart TV in the living room with cable and DVR, and 55-inch smart TVs in each bedroom. A full-sized washer and dryer are located in the condo, hair dryers are in each bathroom, and beach towels are provided. Beach chairs, umbrella & beach cart are also provide in the downstairs storage locker. You will also find numerous games and puzzles.
Outside amenities include covered parking and an easily accessible, beautiful white sand beach with the seashells for which Sanibel is famous. The bike path runs in front of Sand Pointe, and the Bailey Tract of the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge is just a short walk or bike ride away. Sand Pointe is close to all of Sanibel’s shopping, dining, and entertainment.
