The unit was in very bad condition. Old and dirty furniture, rusting appliances and beach gear was horrible. The owners should be ashamed to rent this unit. Sanddollar is nice and great location, unit is not.

The condo was great for our family! There were a few little things that needed adjustment when we got there but nothing different then taking care of your own home. The kitchen and furniture were clean and comfortable. Beds and linens were clean and organized. The beach was great with shells, sand dollars, and tide pools. We saw a lot of cool creatures. The location off of Middle Gulf was the secret winner of the site as well. You can bypass a lot of traffic by using Middle Gulf. We’ll likely be staying here again! Thanks!!

Loved the location and condo but there were too many unsupervised kids in the pool.

From the booking to the check in and check out everyone at Sanibel Holiday was friendly professional helpful and courteous. The unit was clean and and the beds were very comfortable. The property description was accurate and the Sanddollar community was clean, accessible and small enough to not feel busy. The pool was clean and inviting. The grills could use some maintenance and upkeep but it did not effect our overall stay. The amenities provided by the owner (ie. bikes, beach chairs and toys) were very handy and appreciated! We loved being able to bike everywhere and being close to wonderful restaurants and activities.

We had a great time in Sanibel. The property was comfortable and very close to the beach. There was a nice pool on the property as well. We had wonderful dinners at Traders Restaurant, Cips, and George and Wendy's Seafood Grill. Breakfast at Sanibel Cafe was very good too. Lots of great shopping too.

everything was wonderful with one exception. The units were great, the amenities were excellent but we had an unfortunate encounter with the maintenance man. We reported the multiple instances of inappropriate conduct to both Sanibel Holiday and the property manager , both of whom were very responsive and are seeking to have the situation properly addressed. ( the man should be fired)

We loved it and will return next year. Great location, quiet, convenient. Kitchen was superb and well laid out. Could have had more kitchen supplies.

We had a great time in Sanibel. Sand Dollar could not have been a better location - a short walk to the beach, very quiet. I think the unit could use some updating with bedding especially. Also the dehumidifier was not working well at all as it stayed damp the entire week. Also, a cleaning of the dryer vent at 8:30AM was not appreciated by the guests still sleeping - maybe later in the day when all are out of the unit. <br/>Plenty of room for 6 guests, plenty of towels, dishes,glassware.

We have stayed at different 3 bedroom units in Sanddollar for 9 years. The tremendous view from the lanai, the pool and the ocean remain the same beautiful, soul rewarding features. The unit C202 which we stayed in last year also, had multiple things wrong with it, which the manager worked to improve in a timely manner. The buildings in general are not being kept up. The elevator certificates in buildings B & C are both out of date by 20 months. I called the posted condo association phone and received a voice mail back saying the pit had problems that are fixed. Living in a condo back home, we would not been able to run an elevator that was a day overdue, so I cannot understand how these are allowed to operate. Being handicapped, I need a safe elevator. Elevators in buildings B & C were both poorly repaired on the internal walls and tiles are missing from the lanais. This is why we will not be renting any Sanddollar unit again.

great location and nice grounds with pool and beach.<br/>The unit itself had much to be desired including old beds, and the kitchen was poorly equipped with garbage bags, dishwasher soaps and backup paper products, including paper towels (a full roll and then one would be good). no toilet paper was left and we had to have some delivered. Had to first, I would recommend the building but not that unit. So your question below is no to that specific unit. I had to ask for steel spatula for the grill outside. The bedroom room on inner hall did not open either. The company you recommended for cribs (and we had one delivered) should be taken off your recommended list. The mattress smelt of mold. If there was another 3 bedroom in the same facility that had better equipped kitchen and better beds, we would consider coming back.

Linens (beach towels/pillows) are in need of replacement. We were disappointed that the complex allows smoking at the pool. Our neighboring condo also smoked on their lanai which made for strong odors.

We enjoyed a two week stay at this Sanddollar Condo. It has everything you need for the perfect vacation -- well mantained three bedrooms. 2 bathrooms, lvingroom and kitchen,lanai, pool, barbecues and beach. Staff were very responsive to any issues that occurred. We hated to leave!<br/>
