We were very comfortable in our Shell Island vacation home! It was perfectly clean and well appointed with all our needs. The view was incredible- the screened in porch was a dreamy coffee spot to take in the sights and sounds. We could see the beautiful ocean, the swimming pool and even the top of the lighthouse. The kitchen layout was convenient for cooking and we enjoyed having the community grills for use. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was ample drawer space and closet hangers. We appreciated ensuite laundry and clothes drying rack on the patio. The resort grounds were also very well maintained. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the boardwalk to the beach with showers to rinse off sand, the car park under our building and all surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping. It was hard to leave! Thank you!

7C is in a great location with a beautiful view of the beach. Unit was very clean and had pretty much everything we would need. Beach chairs were provided and complex office has beach towels/umbrellas and complimentary bikes for use as well as tennis equipment and games/puzzles. Stairs to unit must be noted for those with mobility issues. Sanibel Holiday was wonderful to rent from through the whole process.

We have stayed at Shell Island Beach Club several times before but this is the first time through this agency. We had to pick up the keys at a different location but it is right on the way and very easy to do so. The check in was easy. Our unit was spotless and just as advertised. The agency called several times to check on us doing the week. Overall the week was wonderful and I would highly recommend this company and the location.

We loved this unit so much. Very nicely decorated and a beautiful view. The complex is great and it’s nice to grab a bike at any time and set out. The linens were great in the unit and furniture was comfy. The king size bed does have a very firm mattress. Also, if steps are difficult for you this unit has 42 of them and I would climb them to get to this great unit but if you have bad knees or you can’t carry heavy things up and down that many steps this unit will be difficult for you. I loved having the keurig and regular coffee pot options! We loved the pool and the people were great in the office. It’s also nice to borrow towels from the office. Awesome unit and I highly recommend! We also enjoyed being so close to the lighthouse!!

Because of health problems and vaccine dates we were unable to go to Sanibel this year. Our son and his family were more than willing to take our place. He, his wife and 4 children ranging in age from 7-21 enjoyed themselves immensely. They had great weather and took advantage of all the amentities - pool, hot tub, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, bicycles, and best of all the great view from the lanai and a beautiful short walk to the beach. They showed us photos of the inside of the rental and we noted several updates that had been made since our visit in February, 2020. My review is what they passed on to me.

Let's be clear, there are two flights of stairs that can be challenging if you are in poor health. That being said, the unit was the cleanest unit we have stayed in and was well appointed. There were a couple of issues with the cable TV, but the management company was very responsive. We enjoyed that the balcony was screened and offered a beautiful view of the community and of course the beach. The walk to the beach was easy enough with a boardwalk to the beginning of the beach. This helps if you are wheeling a wagon weighted with a day's supply of beach supplies! The location was quiet with never being aware of a road no too far away, and we were steps from the park and light house. Shell collection and sand dollar appreciation (do not harvest them) was better than most beaches. There are many excellent restaurants, as well, offering numerous cuisines and local seafood. The overall experience was excellent and worth another stay some time in the future.

We loved hearing how much you loved your stay with us at Island Beach Club 7C! It is a view you have to work for (42 step walk-up) but it is quite spectacular from your private, screened in lanai! We have always placed a priorty on providing exceptionally clean units for our guests but we have stepped up our game even more in light of Covid. This starts wth your arrival at our office for check-in with frequent sanitation in the office, professional grade air cleaners, UV sanitation of keys, to cleaning your unit with CDC recommended products and UV light sanitation, to all sheets, blankets & bath towels being laundered off-site at a professional facility (we have removed all bedspreads which are stored in closets for your use if you would like), All inspectors & cleaners are masked and gloved at all times while they are preparig the unit for your stay to ensure your safety. We hope your 2021 travels bring you back to Sanibel and Shell Island Beach Club 7C!

We were very pleased/loved the condo. It was clean, spacious, had everything you need in the kitchen, the beds were sooo comfy and the views are beautiful! The screened porch was awesome! We spent a lot of time out there. We stayed on the top (2nd) floor and there was no elevator. Not a big deal for us but maybe for an older couple or anyone with injuries. We will definitely be coming back! The grounds are very beautiful and very well kept! The pool is big and very nice and clean! The boardwalk to the beach is flat and very nice and beautiful with a tropical feel. It truly feels like your in a tropical island.

This is our fourth stay at this condo. It is a terrific place to relax and view the gulf. Although there are 40+ steps (no elevator), the place is worth it and one gets exercise at the same time.

Nice to have the 2nd bathroom even though there was just 2 of us. Never used the 2nd bedroom. Just a few very minor housekeeping problems that were corrected the day I reported. All appliances and air conditioning worked perfectly. Very clean a well stocked with exception of no containers or bowls had tops. Office dropped of 2 packs of plastic food containers asap. I did not expect them to do so. I would suggest to pack a few extras for your stay. Just a few steps to the ocean...We have rented this unit 2x. It is currently for sale.

Our stay was a return to 7C. We were excited to be able to re-book this unit since we were so satisfied with it last time. In fact, we did book it again next year. Everything was clean and well stocked. The view is super, and meals on the lanai turn sandwiches into fine dining.

We had a wonderful stay at 7C; the condo was beautiful, very clean and extremely spacious. The master bedroom has a large bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, double sink vanity and a private toilet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have TVs. There is another full bathroom (tub shower) off the second bedroom/living room. A starter package of supplies is provided (toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen soap, laundry soap, etc). You will need to bring your own bathroom toiletries. This condo had a hairdryer in both bathrooms yet only 1 of them worked. There are many movies and games provided for the evenings or raining afternoons. There are also beach chairs and sand toys in the second bedroom closet. There are many steps up to this condo but the view is worth it. Parking is provided under the building which is really convenient when it is raining. There are bicycles provided and you can use them any time. There are bike paths across the whole island so I highly recommend using the bikes. We took the bikes all over the island, placing them in the bike racks and they were always where we left them (no bike lock needed). The office on property will "check out" beach towels at $10 each which is return when you return the towels. The gulf and the bay are both a short walk from the condo. There is a shell washing station and a feet/body shower on the way to the beach. I highly recommend staying at the Shell Island Beach Club 7C!

First floor of unit is parking, so although unit is on second floor, you have to climb three flights to the unit. The unit is quiet and clean. There is a screened in balcony facing the beach. One bedroom has two single beds, the other has a queen or king. Master has huge walk in shower. Fifth guest can sleep on pull out couch. It sleeps four adults comfortably. If you have small children, five or six people is reasonable. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils. The grounds are very nice. An unexpected hit with my family was the shuffleboard courts, which were great. Pool was the nicest I've seen in this type of unit. Heated and clean. Very big also. Lighthouse grill is within walking distance and great restaurant. Bikes are all around the property. Some work, others don't. You have to pick and choose. Overall very satisfied with experience. I would rank 9 of 10 stars.

This was the third year that we have rented this particular condo. The owner has been great to deal with. The view from the lanai is breathtaking.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with fairly new appliances. We were able to cook meals frequently, although we do enjoy eating at Sanibel's restaurants.
The unit includes the use of free bicycles. Many places on the island are within walk or biking distances. We only used the car a handful on times in our three weeks on the island.
The only issues we had were a soft mattress and lack of beach chairs. My wife has back issues which require a firm mattress.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with fairly new appliances. We were able to cook meals frequently, although we do enjoy eating at Sanibel's restaurants.

Sanibel Island is one of our favorite vacation destinations and Shell Island Beach Club has become our favorite property to stay! The complex is immaculate and well maintained. The condo was also immaculate! We had an issue with the master bathroom toilet not working but we called the office and the issue was promptly resolved. All of the comforts of home are provided! The view from the lanai is wonderful, we were able to watch dolphins, pelicans, boats and people on the beach. We were very happy with the property and I'm sure we will be returning!

The condo was also immaculate! We had an issue with the master bathroom toilet not working but we called the office and the issue was promptly resolved. All of the comforts of home are provided! The view from the lanai is wonderful, we were able to watch dolphins, pelicans, boats and people on the beach. We were very happy with the property and I'm sure we will be returning!

This was the third year that we have rented this particular condo. The owner has been great to deal with. The view from the lanai is breathtaking.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with fairly new appliances. We were able to cook meals frequently, although we do enjoy eating at Sanibel's restaurants.
The unit includes the use of free bicycles. Many places on the island are within walk or biking distances. We only used the car a handful on times in our three weeks on the island.
The only issues we had were a soft mattress and lack of beach chairs. My wife has back issues which require a firm mattress.

First floor of unit is parking, so although unit is on second floor, you have to climb three flights to the unit. The unit is quiet and clean. There is a screened in balcony facing the beach. One bedroom has two single beds, the other has a queen or king. Master has huge walk in shower. Fifth guest can sleep on pull out couch. It sleeps four adults comfortably. If you have small children, five or six people is reasonable. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils. The grounds are very nice. An unexpected hit with my family was the shuffleboard courts, which were great. Pool was the nicest I've seen in this type of unit. Heated and clean. Very big also. Lighthouse grill is within walking distance and great restaurant. Bikes are all around the property. Some work, others don't. You have to pick and choose. Overall very satisfied with experience. I would rank 9 of 10 stars.
