We visit Sanibel every year between mid-October and early December and always stay in Tarpon beach 304. The weather is mostly beautiful, temperatures are mild and the humidity is not as extreme as in the rest of the year. The apartment has a preferred location with free sight to the gulf. You can even see the sunrise from your bed and in the evening you can see the sunset from the beach. This is unique and results from the geographical orientation of the island, which is from east to west. The apartment is well equipped with everything (kitchen tools, furniture 2 TVs, WLAN, beach items, bicycles). The staff of Sanibel holiday is very friendly and if you need help, they send someone over mostly immediately. Although the island has a lot of restaurants and shops, it never looks like a busy place. A great part of the island is reserved for nature and no high buildings are allowed. You can watch all kinds of birds, alligators, dolphins, which come close to the beach and sometimes manatees. We always join a sunset boat tour at the lagoon, which is an unforgettable impression, when all the birds rest on the mangroves. One of our favorite restaurants is Timbers, where they have the best sushi and fresh fish. Baileys supermarket is only half a mile from the apartment and provides you with everything you need, food, non food, fishing equipment et c. This year we had the opportunity to watch the Christmas tree enlightening with great firework at twin waters on Captiva Island. It was a spectacular event. We love to be here and we will certainly come back next year.

The property has been recently updated since these pictures... new paint, lanai furniture, rugs, window coverings to name a few. Great location with wonderful seating area halfway down boardwalk to view sunsets. Plenty of lounge chairs and tables around pool and shell rinse station along with shower and hose to rinse off sand.

I loved it! Nice area, loved the new access to the beach area. <br/>Stayed with family- in 6 different condos- for a family reunion, we all had a nice experience. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Tarpon Beach 304. The corner unit is so nice with a view of the pool area as well as the ocean. The property description was right on target. Everything we needed was available to us. Sanibel Holiday is great to work with - friendly and reliable! We love to swim and so the pool was our daily wakeup routine.

Tarpon Beach Condos are in a great location. Peaceful setting with a lovely heated pool. Grounds are meticulously maintained. Furnishings in 304 are quite dated and well worn.

We had a great time on Sanibel with our two boys the condo was perfect, pool and steps from the beach. Full kitchen to cook at home, books, and puzzles for those early morning risers. The location could not have been better - easy ride to get groceries and outside the main traffic drag. If we come back to Sanibel we certainly will stay at this condo once again.

Home is poorly maintained and dirty upon arrival. The location is a 10 which is why we continued to renew.

Love location and lanai. Unit could use some updates bedding wise and appliance wise. Furniture is dated, at best.

It was great to enjoy two weeks of nice warm weather, while it started to get winter at home with cold temperatures and darkness. The weather conditions at Sanibel were ideal, not too hot, clear skies and no rain. The apartment allows a free view over the gulf. Because the orientation of the beach is from east to west it is possible to see the sun from sunrise to sunset. We experienced wonderful sunrises and sunsets. The only flaw was the bugs (no-see-ums), little biting insects which seem to be active all year around. The Apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a combined living room with kitchen. It is comfortable and equipped with everything. We prepared our own meals. There is a big supermarket nearby, which provides any kind of food and beverages, together with all kind of hardware. One day we had lunch in Timber's fish Restaurant. It is a highlight in seafood. The Apartment is equipped with HD Television and Wi-Fi. It also contains a washing machine and a dryer. The air-condition has its limitation. At full sun shine outside, the temperature inside is limited to 76-77°F. On one day the aircondition stopped completely, but after calling the Sanibel holiday office it was repaired within a few hours later. This was the only problem we experienced during our stay. It was our third stay in this apartment (304) and we are very satisfied and hope to use it more often in the future. We would recommend it to friends and relatives. It is ideal for four people, two couples or a family. In the basement is a room which contains all kind of beach equipment, for adults and also for children. We find the time between October and December best, because the weather conditions are ideal and the prices are the lowest.

This is a great second floor condo overlooking the beach and pool--plus a great view of storms rolling in off the gulf. The kitchen cabinets, counter and bar area were nicely updated. The furniture was comfortable, stylish and in great condition.<br/><br/>We spoke with several Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) volunteers as they were marking off turtle egg nests and moving one back to save it from an unusually high tide.<br/><br/>We had fun using the bikes to take short rides to the Bailey Tract, Ding Darling, the Shell Museum, and Bailey's Shopping area--we enjoyed eating at Joey's Ice Cream and the Sanibel Sprout.

The condo was clean and comfortable. It had everything that one could need. We were thrilled to have beach towels because most owners do not supply them. Having a Keurig was also a nice touch. The pool was nice and warm. Very relaxing vacation!
