Stay every year since 2009 for 1 week in 3 units. Always the perfect family vacation. Units are immaculate and staff always responsive. Couldn’t wait to come back after hurricane Ian. Happy to report they are back better than ever. Vegetation is growing back , Jerrys market is in full operation and restaurants are available though I have to say we love to grill out and eat out only 2x. Sanibel is the one vacation that is a priority for us.

This was our first trip back to Sanibel in four years and we were so happy to be back in one of our favorite places. The condo renovation post-hurricane is incredible and it’s gorgeous inside and out. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings is impeccable and we had a perfect week just steps from the water. Shelling at low tide in the evenings and morning walks along the water are some of the most enjoyable things about Sanibel. We can’t wait to come back next year.

We stayed in Unit 1A (beach front) 3 times prior to hurricane Ian. We just returned after the rebuild and it’s beautiful again. We love to watch the dolphins and manatees from the lanai. Our daughter and her family rented a unit around the pool and it’s equally as beautiful. The small complex is quiet and convenient. There’s a new pool, tennis and pickle ball court. Highly recommend Villa Sanibel and the staff at Holiday Sanibel is great!

Lots of rental properties are described as beachfront, but this was in the most convenient location: simply walk out your door and you were on the beach. No need for packing large bags or rolling big wagons; forget something? just walk the 10 steps back inside. It really was a great condo in a great location.

We have vacationed on Sanibel Island multiple times and this has been our favorite! Starting with the e ease of booking and ending with checkout, this stay didn’t disappoint. They have rebuilt and we were speechless! Villa 1A hits our number one reason for vacationing on Sanibel Island; being close to the beach and shells. At high tide, it is a 23 second walk from the lanai to the first touch of water. If you dread carrying beach supplies around or worried about how quick you can make it to the restroom, set your mind at ease, you cannot beat the location! While laying in bed, the view of the ocean from the master bedroom makes you almost feel like you're on a sailboat. Incredible! The residents around the Villa are considerably kind and welcoming. The staff was attentive and responsive. The owners are incredibly generous to allow others to stay in such a slice of heaven! They have been challenged with the recent storms but persevered and have rebuilt and decorated a beautiful Villa by the ocean. There is an outdoor shower right by the front door to rinse the sand off and that is super convenient, especially with kids! We have two weeks booked for next year!

We love Villa Sanibel and Sanibel Holiday. Never have had a bad experience. When provided with constructive feedback we feel heard. We notice that the little things we mentioned after last year’s vacation were updated for this stay. Had a couple of bugs to wrangle. A tiny lizard was discovered hiding out in the bathroom. I did manage to capture and release outside. We did not love this part of the vacation but understand that these things happen. If it had been a bigger lizard or scorpion I would have called for backup. Great accommodations. This time we noticed that the walls (master bath), slatted closet door for water heater, and vents could use a good vacuum or dusting. Still think a mattress topper for master bed would be great. Bed is hard and causes me back issues. I’ve been told the twin mattress is very comfortable.

We have stayed in this condo before and find this a place to return to. Being able to walk out and be directly,on the beach is a plus. Water was wonderful. Sunsets awesome. The only negative was the guest bedroom was without a tv for the entire week. Jack is super to work with. We will see you next June.

Villa Sanibel was the perfect place to enjoy the ocean. Six steps and you were on the sand! We could see the sunrise and sunset from our condo. Found many unique shells and saw many different wildlife that inhabit the island...gopher tortoise, osprey, dolphins, and fish that were caught by neighbors. The beds were very comfortable. The linen package was the best we have ever had. Nice sheets and thick towels with plenty to use! Condo was well equipped for cooking . . . but also close to many good restaurants, so why cook! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The management company is very attentive to any need that arises . We notice over the years that furniture replacement happens as things start looking warn out. It is always spotless and we have reserved again for next year. The location is incredible with the unit sitting right on the sand with no obstruction to the water. Our visit to Villa Sanibel 1A was our third. We enjoy unit 1A very much. Wonderful view everyday. We we're very happy that the red tide cleared up for our visit. Unfortunately we had to deal with construction noise on two neighboring unit, which distrubed our week of peace and quiet. Sunday as early as 7 am. Our parking place was occupied by construction vechicles each day. We made the best of it. It would have been nice to be offered a discount for our inconvenience.

Is was the 3rd time we have stayed at Villa Sanibel. The first time right on the Beach. Loved the location and the water views. The Gulf is so nice. Did some shelling and spent a lot of time on the Beach. Dined out several times, did some shopping. In all we have a great time.
This is THE PLACE to stay!

We loved this condo! You cannot get closer to the water. The condo is fully stocked with beach gear, kitchen equipment, linens, etc. The best place to stay on the island.

This was our 2nd year at Villa Sanibel 1A. We totally enjoyed our stay!!! It's great to be able to walk out the lanai and be on the beach. Most mornings we saw dolphins!!!

An amazing getaway just steps from the beach! We have stayed at beaches all over the world and this one is by far the closest to the water. We poured a cup of coffee in the morning and just walked a few steps to drink it with ocean water on our feet. Villa is very comfortable, basically 2 master suites since both have bathrooms and can be closed off from each other and the main living area. It was very quiet, early risers never heard by those still sleeping. Beach is loaded with shells which was great fun but bring along water shoes if you have tender soles. Sanibel Holiday was also great, one of the best rental companies we have used. They were so friendly, prompt and accommodating. We go to Sanibel every year and this is our first time using them but will do so every time in the future. We will be back for sure!!!

Our second visit here. Can't get any closer to the beach! Property as described. Only issue was no hot water- called management company and they promptly sent out a plumber. It was a flipped switch. Remedied in 5 mins. No-see-ums are ferocious after Irma. Would love to see that special screen material used on lower half of screens-limited our evenings outdoors.

This property is right on the gorgeous beach! This location was perfect for our family! This stretch of beach is not too close to the public access, so we really felt like we had our own private beach! The property is well-maintained and clean, with numerous amenities. The management staff was helpful with suggestions for activities and the owner was always quick to reply to my inquiries via email. We had a great vacation at Villa Sanibel!

This was our 8th year renting 4 units. It's our family reunion every year. Villa Sanibel is quiet , not a lot of units and therefore uncrowned at the pool and beach. Very relaxing with a very responsive rental agent in case of a maintenance issue (7 minutes). Just a few feet to the beach no carrying equipment for a quarter mile. You are right on the sand.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sanibel.We wanted to be on the beach and this fulfilled that desire. It is very comfortable. The king bed was comfy; better pillows would be nice. The bathrooms are are nice. The kitchen is great, nicely redone. All items for basic cooking and dining are provided. The washer and dryer is new and great. The furniture is not fancy, but it's clean and "beachy". We loved the screened porch and spent much time out there. The furniture out there is very uncomfortable , but we made it work to be by the water. There are beach chairs and beach towels, sand toys, etc. If you don't need super fancy, it's really a great place.
