Description

Gulf Beach 207 is one of 14 Gulf front condos located near the East End of Sanibel Island. A very popular location, this is a top-floor, corner unit that can comfortably accommodate up to six guests with a king in the master bedroom, queen and twin in the guest room and sleep sofa in the living room. You and your guests will enjoy the beauty of this unit with its updated kitchen and bathrooms, tile flooring throughout and breathtaking views from your private screened-in lanai. The owner has equipped the unit with 3 flat screen TV's, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. The storage locker on the ground floor contains beach equipment for your use, which you can easily bring via the complex boardwalk to the beach. Gulf Beach complex amenities include: a community heated pool, elevator and gas grills. This is a smoke-free complex.

We enjoyed our trip thoroughly! The complex is small and quiet. The unit was great, with everything we needed for the week! The view from the lanai was fantastic and the corner unit was an added plus. The only gripe I would have is that I wish it was more transparent about what was offered with the unit in terms of beach towels and equipment. We brought towels with us, and purchased a few beach toys because we weren’t guaranteed those things. There ended up being 5-6 beach towels and an abundance of beach equipment. They can’t guarantee that those items will be there because you never know if those items will grow legs and disappear. I get it.

If you go during the weekend of Memorial Day, just know that there will be hundreds of boats up and down the shoreline. They were pretty cleared out by Tuesday, but Sunday and Monday was crowded with boats.

Overall, we loved this unit and would stay here in the future for sure.

Could not have imagined such a Great Vacation. Our condo rental was a home away from home! Updated appliances and the housekeeping was Fantastic! Plenty of towels and sheets/bedding was immaculately cleaned!
Property management also called midweek to make sure everything was going well & Met our needs�� We have already booked same time next year�� Very centrally located to everything but still quiet & peaceful. Highly recommend staying here!

The place was nice, convenient to everything. Quiet area of the island. The beach was not crowded, pool area was clean, well-maintained. The condo was somewhat clean, not sure how well the floors were cleaned before we arrived, we walked around alot in our bare feet & our feet were black, this was before being anywhere outside of the unit. We had 2 grandchildren with us so when their toys rolled under the furniture it didn't look that those areas were cleaned in awhile. That would be my only complaint, & I'm not a clean freak, but when you find items from previous guests under the furniture you know it wasn't cleaned. Everything else was great, the layout of the condo, having beach towels provided, & the things in the storage unit was everything you would need for the beach. I would rent this unit again it was perfect for us & we had 4 adults & 2 children ages 4 & 2. Thank you!

I booked this rental with some hesitation as I have never stayed or even visited this area of Sanibel before. The view was the most appealing portion of the rental and it 100% lived up to the pictures in the listing. Absolutely stunning to look out and see the ocean from your bedroom or kitchen each and everyday. My only concern was that the unit did need a little bit of love with some upkeep. One of the sinks was being held together by a clamp and some super glue and in various spots their were signs of painting needed or just general upkeep. Still in good shape, but for the money paid, I would expect a little more.

We had a semi relaxing week.
We were there over Memorial day weekend.
The first 3 days were not quiet or relaxing. With over 100 boats anchored off the beach, all blaring loud, various music ,it sure wasn't peaceful.
Also the beach smelled like dead fish for a few days...not pleasant.

Paradise, I have been going down to Sanibel for the last 9 years, and it has been wonderful. I found this rental 7 years ago, and it is truly everything you would want. It is beachy but not overly done. It is simple and gorgeous. The view incredible--- light bright and beautiful.

Our first time on the Island and we will be back for sure. Everything was perfect from the moment we booked the condo until the day we headed home. The condo was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the view of the ocean spectacular, the location fabulous and the owner of the condo could not have been kinder or easier to deal with. 10 out of 10 for the entire experience!!

Beautiful condo overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. We were less than a mile from the lighthouse. Jeff, the owner, went out of his way to be accommodating. The weather wasn’t the greatest, but we had a great time on Sanibel.

problems
the first light on the ceiling once you walked in did not work but did not notice it until we had been there 3 days...we did not call it in because we did not use it anyway. Overall a great place to stay for the price..great value.

A very nice rental experience. The unit was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with multiple pots/pans and plenty of dished/silver/utensils. It was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have experienced in a rental. The beds and furniture was comfortable. It was a very quiet stay..only 14 units in this ocean front building. The pool was spotless.
Overall this rental is a winner. We are very picky!!!!

he entire family had a wonderful Thanksgiving on Sanibel Island! It's just a short walk to the beach. The storage room contained everything you need; umbrella's, beach chairs, boogie boards, noodles, sand toys, etc, and a cart to haul it all. The pool was good size and heated, most days we had it to ourselves. The evenings & mornings were cool enough we had the doors and windows open, nothing like waking up to the sound of the ocean! We rented bikes and explored the island - paved bike trails all through the island. Be sure to do a boat tour. We went to Captiva and saw manatee and a couple different pods of dolphins - great experience! The property owner, Jeff, was very nice and attentive. We exchanged a couple emails where he provided some recommendations, he also called to check in when we got there, and sent a text message when we got home. Definitely recommend staying in this condo!!

Some things need updated. Found dimmer switches that did not work. Couchs are past their prime. For me mattresses are extremely soft and don't support properly. Overall it is a great location and a good value. The staff a Sanibel Holiday were very good at their jobs, as always.

We have reached out to the owner regarding your concerns. He will be looking into the dimmer switch situation. He is currently shopping for a new couch so this issue will be corrected very soon. The owner did relay that the mattresses in the unit are newer and I must admit we have not received any other complaints on the comfort of the beds. Gulf Beach 207 is a well-supplied and beautifully decorated condo without extra nick knack clutter.
We enjoyed our Sept. 14 through Sept. 21st, 2019, stay and would recommend this condo for anyone that appreciates beach vacation lodging that has both privacy and convenience.

This was our second time to Jeff and Katy's 2 BR condo and as always, it was immaculate and comfortable! The windows on two sides add so much light in addition to a beautiful view of the beach (including the afternoon storms). It's not full this time of year and the other renters were all friendly (pool time helps get to know them). Our 18-month-old grandson from Tampa learned to love the beach for the first time! We not only once again took advantage of the option to transfer our deposit to reserve the same week for next year, I just learned the week after is also available so we will have our first-ever two week beach vacation, yay! We recommend using Sanibel Holiday for booking, they are great to work with.

We have been coming to Sanibel Island for 15 years and this condo
and location was our favorite. The unit is updated, the owners were helpful, and the view of the gulf is outstanding. We were just steps from the beach and a short bike ride to shops and restaurants. We are definitely coming back next year!

We had a great stay at Sanibel Island Florida. The condo at Gulf Beach #207 was excellent. It was very clean and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need was there. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil or pot or pan you could need. The view was great and there were any beach accessory you could need also. Great place to stay.

The condo was immaculate and the view from the lanai was breathtaking.
The only issue was no covered parking.

We are return guests. This condo is our haven, to escape from the whirlwind of life.. The location is perfect: close to shops (we cycled everywhere for the whole week), restaurants and right on the beautiful beach. It is well stocked with all we need. The decor is sooting and modern. towels are thick and dishes aplenty. It is quiet and the view is FABULOUS! The owners are friendly and accommodating. We love it!

We try to take a beach trip every summer with the kids and grand kids. Usually we have a bigger condo but our son and his family couldn't come this year so this was the perfect size. We had a fantastic time. The kids aged 8 and 11 loved all the shells. They found some really big ones one evening after a big storm and were thrilled. They have big plans for them. We were celebrating our daughter's 40th birthday and the owner did some research for us and came up with a wonderful restaurant for us. The Mad Hatter, a small place on the beach with fantastic food. A little pricey, but worth it. Would definitely go again.
Really enjoyed the screened in porch, with it's beach view. Had cocktails out there in the evenings. We would go back again. Well stocked kitchen pots, etc. Really lovely.

We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed walked on the beach every morning and every afternoon. We saw a lot of will life, rabbits and tortoises on the property and all kind of marine birds near the sea shore. We collect and where able to see lots of shells and on the tide pools start fishes, small fishes and crabs. Wonderful experience! Good for a couples retreat or for a family fun time! Beautiful views and a perfect location!
