Description

***Magic Wave is ready to host your getaway to Sanibel Island. The clubhouse and community pool are not currently open - however, may potentially be ready by November (but not guaranteed). The deeded beach access sustained damage from Ian, it is currently accessible but not maintained. Tarpon Beach Public Beach access is just 1 block from the home. You may walk or bike to this location. There is also public parking for $5/hr. Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are approximately 25 restaurants now open, as well as a few shops including Jerry’s Grocery. Neighboring homes are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment throughout the island and along Daniel Drive.

Relax and enjoy the serenity and beauty of "Magic Wave". This completely remodeled and tastefully decorated home has 3 bedrooms, a loft, and 2.5 bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops which make it perfect for both cooking and entertaining. The living area has high ceilings with plenty of light flowing in from the french doors that lead out onto the screened-in lanai. Located in Sea Gull Estates, this stilted home is just off West Gulf Drive with deeded beach access across the street from the Daniel Drive entrance. Additional amenities include: beach equipment, a beach cart, washer, dryer, grill, Wi-Fi, Netflix, community heated pool and tennis courts. This is a non-smoking home. Staying at Magic Wave house was one of the best life decisions that I have ever made. I have been vacationing for almost 3 decades and I can say without hesitation that this was the nicest overall place I have stayed. The home itself is beautiful and the pictures do a very good job of accurately showing what the inside of the house looks like. Something that I truly enjoyed that I did not anticipate was using the outdoor shower. It was absolutely incredible to be able to shower in such a beautiful setting while being outside. Something else that I did not anticipate enjoying so much was the neighborhood. It was literally like being in a botanical garden. There are so many beautiful flowers and tropical foliage to enjoy on your walk or bike ride to the beach. I also did not expect to enjoy bike riding around Sanibel as much as I did. It actually became my main activity while on the island. I would go for about 3 bike rides a day. I had no place to go. I just rode. It was wonderful. It took me about 2 minutes to ride to the beach. The beach was very slow most days and I basically had it to myself. The grocery store is very close to the house which was nice. The neighborhood pool was also very beautiful and was a nice change of pace from the beach. I didn't have any issues with the house, but I had a few questions. The management company was more than happy to help me and they made it very obvious they were actually there to help me and enjoyed doing so. All in all, I can't recommend this property enough. It is literally the closest thing to paradise that I have found. Sanibel is one of the last unspoiled beach destinations in the US and this house was the perfect place to enjoy it from.

A back porch with a very secluded back yard bordered by a natural area. We enjoy watching marsh rabbits munching on the grass. The tortoise usually comes out in the afternoon to snack.
