Sanibel is always my favorite place! Sanibel Surfside #123 is the closest to the beach of anywhere on the island! Love that! The condo is beautiful , nicely decorated with everything you might need. Angie at Sanibel Holiday was especially kind and helpful altho customer service was overall topnotch.

This lovely condo is ocean front, so great views, and is well appointed having been newly remodeled. The location is excellent being near the bridge, so easy to go off island if needed. It's also quite walkable to shops and restaurants. It's a lovely place and we will definitely be back.

The views from this condo are amazing! The unit is for sale, hopefully the new owners will give the place a little TLC. While very nice and has necessary kitchen items there are several things renters would like to see. New flooring in bedrooms and living room, beach towels please, useable beach umbrellas (the 3 in the overstuffed storage closet were broken), plastic storage containers for leftovers, additional seating in the living room, etc. the biggest problem in this condo is the very tiny compact washer! The tiny thing only holds a couple of room towels and with that tiny load it required an additional drain and spin to get the water out. This is very inconvenient for renters who need to be able to wash a full load. I don’t want to spend my vacation doing multiple loads of laundry each day because the washer was so inappropriate and tiny!! We did encounter a problem with the dryer as well (which is also way too small). Sanibel Holiday responded immediately and sent someone out right away. Overall we love this condo complex, we’ve stayed in another unit that was great it was not available for this week so we tried this unit. Hoping a few updates will make this unit just as great!

We were very satisfied with our stay! The carpet could use some work but other than that the place was nice and clean. Check in and out was super easy. Our beach umbrella was broken and the staff took care of it quickly. We did have to wait in the heat for 30 minutes for our room to be finished cleaning but they were apologetic.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. The beach was not crowded and it was a short walk to the beach. Residents were friendly and helpful to recommend good dining experiences. This was the best stocked kitchen of any facility where we have stayed.

Overall we were very happy with our stay at this property in Sanibel! The view from the room was great and the walk to the actual beach was not long at all, so the location of this unit was a 10/10!

Everyone we came into contact with was super friendly and welcoming. Upon check-in we were told there could be an ant issue and when we walked in there were definitely some large ants on the ceiling as well as smaller ants in the kitchen. I called right away and they had someone at our unit within 15 minutes to handle the situation (also very friendly). The situation was handled very professionally and it was no longer an issue.

The unit was very clean and also smelled clean. I was nervous the carpet would create a smell, and I am very sensitive to scent, but it was never an issue. Thank goodness!

Washer/dryer functioned but it appears it only washed with hot water. I could not figure out how to wash in cold water. Not sure if it's not plumbed correctly. It wasn't a huge issue but something to note! Also, the dresser in the master is broken so it was a pain to open and close the drawers. Again, not a huge issue but was irritating when we did have to open the drawers.

The unit came with two bikes, but I will say they looked pretty rusty. We ended up renting bikes instead but the cost wasn't too bad (bike rental through Finnimore's, very pleased with service). The entire island is bike friendly which was great.
Jerry's grocery store was super convenient and had everything you'd need to not have to leave the island. Very friendly service. Park under the building and bring a tip so you can tip the employees loading your car, they have a very unique service that I wish all grocery stores would put into practice!

Mucky Duck in Captiva is worth the drive for dinner and sunset.

In my opinion, you can't beat the price for staying beachfront in beautiful Sanibel. Would absolutely recommend it and we would 100% stay there

Very nice time. After a 15 year haiatis, my wife and I finally made it back. Turns out that we were the first people to use the unit since the renovations. Nice upgrades. Comfortable and homey with that beach feel. Ocean front view with a king and a queen bed. Perfect for 4 adults.

The condo was exactly as described. Although it was not fancy, It was immaculate and well equipped. We appreciated the ample cookware, utensils, dishes, flarware,and glasses. The lanai was wonderful and we enjoyed listening to the surf from inside the condo. Beach chairs were very nice to have.

Great location with this being a return trip for us to this unit. Nice facility being clean and well maintained. Some unit condition concerns with dresser drawer slides not functioning correctly, the washer needing repair and the dryer being very difficult to use.

Sanibel Island is beautiful, relaxing and convenient when traveling with children. The beach is good for those who aren’t expert swimmers due to its shallow waters. Plenty of outdoor activities for everyone.

Very peaceful, great views and very nice condo. We have been coming to the same complex for five years and it has been a highly recommended experience. I would only make one small suggestion for the condo, please upgrade the VCR player to a blue-ray model. We brought some movies and they would't play on the available equipment. Otherwise, a great experience.

Really nice condo in a great location on the island with full close-up view of the beach! It was so wonderful to hear the surf overnight and wake up to the sunrise on the beach horizon. We ate basically every meal on the lanai. Everything in the condo was great, furniture and bedding very comfortable, plenty of bath towel, and the unit was roomy for our group. Two beach towels, many beach chairs, and an umbrella made enjoying our days outside perfection. Two bikes are included in the storage unit. The kitchen is adequately equipped but we could have used a few items such as a cookie sheet and the Teflon frying pans are all scratched up. Kitchen could use a bit of a clean-up in the drawers too. Overall, a fantastic condo in a fantastic location!!!

Our stay at Surfside was lovely. The unit was as described. The only housekeeping I would mention are the shower tiles. They have lots of natural holes in the tiles making it difficult to clean therefore there was a lot of mildew built up.

This condo met our needs and wants perfectly. My favorite thing was the ability to listen to the waves at night with the sliding doors wide open! My husband, alas, had to work while we were here but the bandwidth was mostly sufficient for the video conferencing he needs to do. (And Comcast is going to fix the problems he discovered.) The master bed was GREAT, the beach equipment plentiful, and the pool area lovely. Sadly the pool cabana was closed because of COVID. I will HAPPILY stay here again.

For those that are familiar with Sanibel you know our units typically have a wide area of vegetation between the unit and the sand. Reasonably nice condo fairly well equipped. Better suited for 4 than stated maximum of 6. Kitchen is weakest feature - small and lacking in number of glasses ,dishes and spoons. Convenient location with good view of the beach. Washer/dryer are very small. Condo has been nicely updated. Neighboring condo can look into your lanai so not much privacy. Overall, good but not great place to stay.

Views were nice from living area and bedroom. Fits 4 comfortably and 6 would be a stretch. 1 bike really old and hard to ride so had to rent one. Overall view and pool so nice would rent again!

Beautiful beachfront location with easy access to beach as well as view from screened lanai. The property is small but everything was manicured and clean. The location on the island of Sanibel is central with easy access to restaurants, shops, inland activities, and bike trails. The condo itself was the perfect size for our small family of 3. At one time, this condo was probably adorable and clean. It is now worn out, outdated, and shabby. The furniture was once high end but now damaged and tired looking. The bedding and upholstery is dirty. The carpet should be replaced for hardwood or tile-it's kinda gross. The kitchen amenities are extremely limited. It is possible to cook and eat here but no gourmet meals or anything extraordinary can happen here. Dishes and silverware are chipped and missing. Pots, pans, and other items are in very short supply. With all of that said, we had a wonderful time in Sanibel. We love the island, and the weather was perfect everyday. If the owner would update the property, bedding, and re-outfit the kitchen, we would stay again. It was not a bad stay, just a little pricey for the what we got in the condo. The property management, Sanibel Holiday, was great. When we called about broken beach chairs and umbrella, they replaced right away. They also pumped up tires on bikes for us.
