Description

This cozy, beachy, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is across the street from the beach. Just 1,000 ft. lie between you and the sand using the beach path. It is located on the desirable West Gulf Drive and offers all the amenities of home, including secured high-speed WiFi and even beach towels! This unit comfortably accommodates 6 guests with a king in the master, 2 twin beds in the guest room and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV and DVD player. The den has a large 55-inch flat screen TV and Blu-ray player. The kitchen is fully-equipped, including a Keurig coffee maker, and ready for all your cooking and entertaining needs. The screened porch provides a nice getaway and is stocked with all you need for the beach. The following items are provided for your convenience: 6 beach chairs, umbrella, shelling equipment, a cart to make it easy to bring it all to the beach and 2 beautiful “adult beach cruisers” bikes. This is a first floor unit, accessible by only a few stairs from the ground. Don’t miss this “Little Slice of Paradise!” This is a non-smoking property.

As we look back on Ian's devastation of Sanibel Island, we feel so blessed that we finally made it to the island, a vacation I've been wanting to take for several years. We pray that this beautiful retreat has been saved. The decor in the pics is what made me keep returning to the listing when searching for a place to stay. It was impeccably clean and provided everything you would need. Communication was quick. The only thing I would suggest is that the listing note that there is no view of the water from the unit, and that you have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the private beach. I was incorrectly under the impression that "across the street from the beach...just 1,000 ft. lie between you and the sand" meant we could see the water. But that didn't stop us from having a fabulous time!

We had a very nice relaxing time. Everything we could have needed for the beach was provided. Close to everything on Sanibel. Owners were wonderful but the rental staff had a lot to be desired. No service from them at all.

Great location. Easy check in. Unfortunately, the place was dirty emailed the owner and she responded quickly stating that the cleaning company must not of finished cleaning. She said she would pass it on to management crew and they would make it right. Never heard from the management crew. I cleaned the bathrooms. Couldn’t use the balcony because the beach supplies and bicycles were just dumped there.

I return to Seashells 7 every year. The unit is well maintained by Sanibel Holiday and the folks there are very responsive to my questions and needs. As soon as I arrive I check everything from kitchen supplies to bathrooms. There's always some little thing. This year there were no beach towels when I arrived. One phone call and they were hand-delivered within an hour. The condo is a short walk from the beautiful beach, and I'm there daily for walking, shelling, lounging. When I'm not at the beach I am out and about enjoying nature at Ding Darling, Bailey Tract, Shipley Trail and occasionally off-island. The condo is equipped with everything you'll need for the beach. And, there are two bikes. The Saturday Farmers' Market is not to be missed. Buy prepared foods, or fresh foods to prepare at home in the well appointed kitchen. Don't cook on vacation? Sanibel has so-o-o many great restaurants. When indoors: reading books borrowed from excellent Sanibel Library, or watching TV on the big beautiful screen. I'll be back again next year. Thank you, Sanibel Holiday, doing a great job of maintaining my happy place.

This rental was perfect for us. Beautifully decorated with a beach theme Well equipped kitchen, very clean, and a great shared space to do laundry. The pool and outdoor areaa are so well kept and clean, too.

We loved the location and decor of the condo. One of the pans wasn't clean when we checked. It was put back dirty in the drawer. I do wish we could have went straight to the condo instead of having to come to the welcom office. There was no information in the packet that could not have been transmitted electronically.

The air BNB and appliances are dated. The TV never worked as promised and with 3 kids you need that at some point DAILY. Laundry facility is on other side of complex and I felt this was misleading. We thought based on description that Machines were in facility. There's a constant mildew scent around complex. The pots and pans were awful, very old and need replaced. When staying as long as we did and in air BNB, some meals needed to be cooked. We did not have a good experience here.

Seashells of Sanibel 7 is great! Cozy, sparkling clean, great amenities, and conveniently located for all of Sanibel’s various activities. Short walk to a beach that’s LOADED with shells (hint—go at sunrise and grab the conchs and whelks as they roll in the surf line), clean and convenient pool, laundry on site, great bikes, and TONS of beach equipment including umbrellas, chairs, and mats. Truly a one-stop shop for an amazing Sanibel getaway.

We loved the pool and the beach to the ocean was within walking distance.
The internet went out and wasn’t fixed for two days.
We found a pair of underwear under king size bed in the master bedroom and they were not ours. The chair in living room was dirty. The couch we covered with a sit on. The amount for the cleaning fee we paid, room should have been spotless and clean under the beds!

The condo is lovely. Well stocked and close to the beach. Our two kids loved having their own room and beds. There was plenty of beach items and we added a beach mat & pool noodle to that. The swimming pool was warm and lots of fun after a day at the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our experience on Sanibel Island and appreciated Sanibel Holiday taking care of us during our stay at the Seashells of Sanibel! Our place was comfortably furnished and the kitchen had everything in in that we needed. The area itself had a great pickle ball/tennis court that we loved using. It was also so nice to have the pool so close and a nice clean laundry room with machines and not needing money to use them! Our favorite part was being so close to the beach :) WE also appreciated having the bikes to ride around and the chairs and beach toys all on our porch. We're thankful for our special memories on Sanibel!

This was my wife's and my first time in SW Florida. We really enjoyed the experience! This rental has a kitchen that's fully stocked with all the utensils you'll need to cook-in. The place is clean and comfortable. The bikes are really an added plus, as we rode almost every day, and actually rode the entire length of the island during the week. Also, we spent the evenings binge-watching our favorite show. Be advised that there's a little bit of a walk to the beach, but the owner provides a cart to bring chairs etc. to the beach.

Relaxing and enjoyable family time. Lots things to do outdoors which was perfect for our family but also during a pandemic. The beds were super comfortable and the pull out was pretty comfy surprisingly. Our bike tires weren’t holding air but they were fixed before the next bike ride. Sanibel is itself amazing.

Seashells 7 condo is charming, with beachy décor, comfortable furnishings. It is well-stocked with kitchenware, linens, and beach paraphernalia. The staff at Sanibel Holiday Vacations are so pleasant and respond quickly to client needs! It's a short walk across the street and down a private access path to the shell-covered beach. Seashells amenities include pool, on-site free laundry facilities, shared computer and gas grill. Favorite activities: shelling, sunning, trail-walking at Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge and properties, Captiva Cruises and Adventures in Paradise cruises to Cayo Costa, shopping. I always visit Sunday Farmers' Market, Sanibel Public Library, events at Big Arts and at Community House. Lots of restaurants! Favorites: Cielo, Traders, Doc Ford's, Sandbar, Normandie, Gramma Dots. Ice cream at Joey's Custard! Hot dogs @ Schnapper's!

The apartment was in excellent condition. Everything you need to have a great vacation is there. The bicycles are a nice touch, but they are a little old and worn out. We still used them to get around.

Seashells 7's beachy vibe sets the perfect tone for vacation on Sanibel Island. Recently updated with new master bath and bedroom decor, and sandy toned flooring, you already feel like you're at the beach. Just across West Gulf Drive, down a private each access path, is a lovely, quiet stretch of beach, covered with shells. Sit under an umbrella (towels, chairs, umbrella, beach toys, and a cart for schlepping, are all provided) to enjoy the sun and air. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and glassware and utensils, and Bailey's market is close by, so you can cook up a storm. Or just heat up delicious foods from the fabulous Sunday Farmers Market. Or dine at the many excellent restaurants on the island. Visit Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge to see the egrets, herons, and spoonbills, that are winter vacationing on the island along with you. Enjoy movies at Island Cinema, go to a concert at Big Arts, and do some shopping, or just crash on the sofa to watch TV on the big screen.

Our flight was delayed and when we arrived at Sanibel Holiday the keys were easily accessible for us.
The condo was clean and comfortable and parking was provided in front of the condo.
The beach access is very easy to get to.
We had one small plumbing problem. Within 10 minutes of my phone call the plumber was at our door and fixed our issue.
Shortly after the plumber left we received a phone call from Sanibel Holiday to make sure everything was done.
They also called again in the morning to check on us.
That was very nice and made our stay very comfortable.
Excellent vacation, excellent rental, excellent agency to deal with.

2017 was my 4th year in this rental. Seashells, a smallish condo community across the street from the water-side of West Gulf Drive, has a private access path to the beautiful beach. This first floor rental unit is decorated in a beachy style and is very comfortable, with 2BR and 2 full baths. It's always clean and neat on arrival; kitchen is well outfitted with dishes, utensils, pots/pans, small appliances; linen closet holds extra sheets, towels, and supply of beach towels; the lanai is outfitted with bicycles, beach chairs, beach toys, umbrella, beach cart. The property managers at Sanibel Holiday are very welcoming and helpful with recommendations, accommodating requests, and resolving any property issues. The location and rental unit were perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and we had plenty of space. We walked to the beach every day. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay at Seashells of Sanibel 7. Access to the beach was easy and having all the beach chairs, toys and wagon made it even easier. Washers and dryers were in the building by the pool, nice to do several loads at once (was free). Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home away from home!

We had a wonderful time, Sanibel is always relaxing and fun. We love going everywhere on bikes especially Ding Darling. Be sure to take the bug spray. For the price the location is great. Best sun rises and sun sets just across the street not to mention all the shells. Hope to return again next year.

The location of number 7 was great. Easy access to the bike trails, and a five minute walk through the trees to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. It is a private beach access so the amount of people was minimal. We rented bikes for our stay which we all agreed was a great choice given the ease that we got from Number 7 to everywhere we wanted to go. We are a family of five with our kids ranging from 5 to 15. The kitchen was great very functional with all the appliances/ tools to be useful. There was enough space for us all to be comfortable and not always tripping on each other. We enjoyed the availability of beach toys and chairs as well. The customer service of Sanibel Holiday was excellent. We had our flights canceled because of weather and they worked with us promptly and efficiently to be able to adjust our was even the weekend and outside of regular office hours.

2017 was my 4th year in this rental. Seashells, a smallish condo community across the street from the water-side of West Gulf Drive, has a private access path to the beautiful beach. This first floor rental unit is decorated in a beachy style and is very comfortable, with 2BR and 2 full baths. It's always clean and neat on arrival; kitchen is well outfitted with dishes, utensils, pots/pans, small appliances; linen closet holds extra sheets, towels, and supply of beach towels; the lanai is outfitted with bicycles, beach chairs, beach toys, umbrella, beach cart. The property managers at Sanibel Holiday are very welcoming and helpful with recommendations, accommodating requests, and resolving any property issues.
