Beautiful Place and nice location. Except for some daytime construction, it was nice and peaceful and a great view of the golf. Very spacious throughout including the screened-in lanai---which was perfect for watching the sunrise. Beautiful bedding AND Comfortable! Plenty of clean towels. The washing machine and dishwasher worked great. The condo supplied beach towels, 4 beach chairs and umbrella as well as wagon to carry them, 2 floats. Walkway to the beach was nice and new. the grill was nice. The beach was really big and deep. Condo is just a block away from a few shops, coffee & ice cream shop, and restaurants. My husband couldn't stop saying how nice it was and he'd definitely come back.

Great quiet condo. Clean and well kept. Everything you need in the kitchen. Comfortable beds. Spacious lanai with decent view of the gulf. Pool was heated and we had it to ourselves! Walkway from condo to the beach was easy and short. Condo supplied beach chairs and umbrella. Could invest in newer chairs that are lower seating beach chairs. But great they were available. Convenient area to restaurants. We did bike everywhere vs driving and it worked out great for us. Cooked and grilled most nights at condo. Would stay again.

We have always stayed on the East end of the island and love it there because it's so quiet. We have stayed at this particular property the past 4 years and always find it a great place to stay.

We also love the East end for its location on the quieter end of the island. Plus you can easily walk to the best breakfast place on the Lighthouse Cafe! Bandy Beach has all the bells and spaciou/ apartment-like feel, 3 bedroom units, Gulf views from most rooms in the condo, large lanais perfect for having dinner or playing board games as a family, access to well-stocked ground level storage lockers, a semi-private elevator shared between units 101 & 201 and a very small property with just 10 units. We are thrilled you loved your stay at A201 and hope your 2021 travel bring you back there!

Our Sanibel Island vacation was one worth repeating so we hope to return someday. It was filled with both relaxation and sun, sand and water play! The check-in process couldn’t have been any easier with the directions given and condition of the unit on arrival was fresh and clean. Our unit was everything we were hoping for - it had easy access from the parking directly underneath the building via the semi-private elevator which serves the only 2 units in the building. That was a big plus as my elderly mother was traveling with us on this vacation. The premises were quiet and we didn’t even come close to any other guests coming and going which is very important now a days during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. As for the unit itself - it is spacious, has the appearance of a recent update with newer bathrooms with the master bath having a separated double-sink wash area and bathing/toilet room with both a tub and shower. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals which in our case was only breakfast since we were out until late evenings. The beach view beyond the pool was nice from the unit’s screened-in wide balcony and the beds were comfortable. Some of the decor and furniture was a bit dated but in decent condition except for the double-reclining couch which was broken on one end and inoperable. Other than that, the accommodations were great. The unit is very bright with a sky light in the living room ceiling and wall to wall sliders leading out to the patio. Also, having a laundry room right in the unit is a big plus! The owner provided complimentary Keurig coffee pods to get us started for a couple of days which was nice.
The beach access is an easy walk along the private boardwalk and the surf was calmer on that side of the island being it’s southern exposure compared to the beaches further north with western exposures and we liked it even better than Captiva. Bandy Beach is the perfect location when you want a spacious, apartment-like feel in a unit that is well updated and accommodates 6 guests without having someone sleeping in the living room. Semi-private , well-stocked, ground level storage room FULL of beach , quiet location on the east end of the island with access to the best breakfast on the island (Lighthouse ! We stayed in a Bandy Beach many years ago. We loved it then and loved it last week! The condo has an updated kitchen and bathrooms, laundry room and huge lanai. I was glad we were on the 2nd floor because the trees had grown to partially obstruct the beach view, though. It was very quiet, especially with only 2 condos per building. We ate out for lunches and fixed meals in the evening. We were able to find all the cooking equipment we needed right there in the kitchen. (If you cook a lot, bring/buy extra dishwasher soap.) There were even beach chairs and pool toys in the private storage room by our covered parking spot.

So many reasons to love Bandy Beach and you hit on every one of them! We love the quiet East End location, most especially that it's within easy walking distance to Pinocchio's Ice Cream, Lighthouse Cafe (arguably the best breakfast on the island) and the East End Deli! We also love the apartment like feel of this harder-to-find 3 bedroom Gulf -front unit. Not only does everyone have their own sleeping space but the living and lanai space isn't crowded once everyone is all together. Ground-level, well-equipped beach equipment storage is always most appreciated by our wants getting set up for your day at the beach to be a lot of work! We hope you have plans to return to Bandy Beach in your near future!

This end of island is quiet and surrounded by nature. The set backs on Sanibel really provide green space and privacy. Updates to this unit are wonderful. Screened porch allows outdoor evenings and rainy days. Elevator makes it nice for groceries and older guests.
