***Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos may be making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at your property and throughout the island. Some amenities in your complex may be closed. The pool, tennis & pickleball courts are now open***

Loggerhead Cay is located on the East end of Sanibel Island, 5 minutes from the Causeway. Sanibel has 2 superior golf courses and a growing number of wonderful shops and restaurants on Periwinkle Way. It is a short drive to the Sanibel Athletic Center, library, Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, Sunday farmers market and many other amenities.

Unit 592 is in building #5. This lovely, well-maintained, open concept, 2nd floor property, can be accessed by stairs or elevator. The unit is a short walk to the beautiful shell-strewn beach and the heated pool. The unit comfortable accommodates up to 6 guests with a king bed in the master, 2 full beds in the guest room and sleeper sofa in the living room. As an added convenience, guests have access to beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which are stored in the guest closet beside the laundry. The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the hall closet as you enter the condo. Loggerhead Cay is a non-smoking property and complex.

Loggerhead Cay complex amenities include: a heated pool, gas grills, pickleball/tennis courts, shell washing station, shuffleboard and direct gulf access.

It was a beautiful and picture-perfect weather. Sunny and hot during the day with the perfect relief of the ocean water and in the afternoon relaxing with the grandchildren by the pool. Everybody enjoyed the time, and we already began planning for next year.
Also, your island is truly blessed. With everything that occurred 2 years ago, their spirit in re-building is highly commendable. Everyone we meet and/or went to their stores, restaurant and grocery meet us with kindness, helpfulness and a great big smile.
Congratulations to all and GOD willing we will be back.

Sanibel Holiday was an excellent host for our stay. They checked in with us often, via text messages, to see if we had any issues or needed anything. Instructions on checking in were clear and timely. Early on, in planning our trip, we discovered the accommodations we chose would not work for us. They found us a different unit that was perfect.
