Each of the 2 bedroom boost a king size bed making this unit perfect for two couples. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. Enjoy all the amenities this unit has to offers such as secure high-speed internet, smart TV’s and a well appointed kitchen with brand new appliance. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the private screened lanai with views of the pool and tropical landscape. This is a first-floor unit with a short stroll to the heated pool and the beach. The west end sunsets will awe you every night!

Upon arrival we had difficulty getting in to the unit, we had no instructions on how to operate the lock. Unit smelled moldy and had visible water damage. Dryer was broken, sleeper sofa was also broken, and no bedding was provided for sleeper sofa.

The condo is in a great central location with easy access to amenities and the beach, but we were disappointed in the property itself. It was comfortable and we liked having a kitchen, laundry and a screened porch, but the refrigerator is ancient and the icemaker doesn't work and the kitchen needs a few more utensils and salt and pepper. For the price we paid, we expected to have beach towels, a usable beach umbrella and chairs to use on the beach. The umbrella was in shreds and we had one beach towel. We were unable to spend time hanging out on the beach without those things. The other outside equipment was in a disorganized pile on the porch. The toilet and tub area in the main bath was really cramped. We love Sanibel Island and will return, but we will look at other properties. I could recommend with reservation, explaining our dissatisfactions. Thanks.

Breakaways West is a phenomenal place to stay! The unit was super clean and had all the household items one needed to make it a perfect stay. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.
The location is perfect! Quiet and secluded enough yet a path way walk away from the beach.
The setting is truly paradise!
We hated to leave and we will be back!

The rental was clean and the decor was very pretty. It was just steps from the beach. Parking was tight though. The appliances need to be updated but they worked well for what we needed. We used the bathroom in the other room mostly as it was bigger. The bed was comfortable and like that you offered other pillows. Overall experience was good.

Breakers West was a lovely place to spend our vacation. The condo was clean, pleasant and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have bedding for the pull out couch somewhere. The staff at the management office was very helpful.

Great space, close to the beach. Just far enough away without being too far from the main strip. Loved all the amenities that are available in the room (laundry, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas etc.)

Our stay was wonderful. This is an exceptional rental with comfortable beds, very clean and wonderfully kept facility and a very short walk down a beautiful trail to the beach. We hope to be back soon!

The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Having the beach only steps away was wonderful. The parking, for the unit, is a bit tight, since a large pick-up truck with a bicycle rack extending off the back - consider restricting parking to sedans only.

Breakers West is a unique property on Sanibel since you are able to book less than a 7 night stay which is the standard at the majority of condo associations on Sanibel. Bookings can be as few as 4 nights or if you are looking for something between 7-14 nights Breakers West is the perfect solution! The flexible dates also allows guest to book a airfare for non-Saturday arrivals/depatures which can result in great savings.The parking at Breakers West is certainly tight so I can appreciate you found parking your large vehicle challenging. It is a smaller property so not only are the spots not great for large vehicles they are also few in numbers (no guest parking available at Breakers West) but this is not uncommon at smaller, less crowded properties.











































































































Thank you so much for your 5-star review of your recent stay at Breakers West A2. We are so happy to hear you found the unit to be perfect for your stay and the beach access easy to manage. Once of the best things about Breakers West is that it is unique in only requiring a 4 night minimum stay! The vast majority of condo associations require a 7 night minimum which the property management companies book on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Not only can you enjoy a shorter stay but you also have the option to stay 7 night buts arrive and depart on any day of the week (this can help with saving money on airfare). Breakers West is a smaller property, with just 20 units, so the parking can be both tight in number of spots(one one spot per unit with no guest parking spots) as well as tight in size.
