Description

***Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are approximately 24 restaurants now open, as well as a few shops including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at your property and throughout the island. Construction noise from interior work in adjoining or nearby units. Some amenities in your complex may be closed. Pickle Ball & Tennis Courts construction will begin 12/4/23 with a targeted completion of 3/16/24. Estimated Elevator completion date for Building 4 is 12/9/23. ***The pool is now open.***

Loggerhead Cay #451 is a nicely furnished, ground-level condo with a courtyard view. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is able to accommodate up to 6 guests. The owner provides Wi-Fi, Netflix, beach chairs and beach towels for your convenience. You will feel right at home with a full kitchen, living area with tile flooring and screened-in lanai with courtyard views. As this unit is ground level, enjoy the convenience of walking directly from your unit to reach the large complex pool and direct Gulf access. Loggerhead Cay is one of Sanibel's largest condo communities with 168 units, conveniently located near the Sanibel Causeway and many restaurants and shops along Periwinkle Way. Complex amenities include: a heated pool, gas grills, tennis court and shuffleboard. This condo is dog friendly (25 pounds or less & 1 dog per property) with a non-refundable fee. This is a non-smoking property.

Very clean and cozy condo. Everything you needed was there. Cookware coffee pot washer and dryer lawn chairs for the beach. The island is stunning. I come every year to sanibel. Best vacation spot every. Love the local food and shopping. I will be back!!!

We have been vacationing on Sanibel every year for over 20 years. It is one of our favorite places. Our stay this time was at LOGGERHEAD CAY unit 451. We were so comfortable and the unit was well appointed and the decor very pretty. The unit was spotless. We hope to rent this unit again and would be interested in a longer winter stay when available.

The condo was perfect. Ground floor providing easy access to the beach. The screen porch had an extra view at the end allowing for additional air movement.. The unit was decorated in Tommy Bahama style which was very nice. The only complaint is that there were no spices and not even salt and pepper.

This was our first time to Sanibel Island, Florida, and our vacation was absolutely wonderful. The location of our condo to the beach and the main road, Periwinkle Way, was perfect. The property is very well maintained and our condo had just about everything we needed. The staff at Sanibel Holiday are very courteous and responsive.
We already have plans to return next year. We love it so much that we hope to make this our yearly vacation destination!

This two-bedroom, two bath unit was on ground level with a one minute walk to the pool and under a two minute walk to the beach. The unit was tastefully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen, an excellent selection of books, beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, and sand toys, games and puzzles. We had a wonderful time and hope to rent again!

Our stay was the last week in September into October and we couldn't have picked a better week. The weather was perfect, mid 80's in temperature, clear blue skies with a few clouds. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We walked the beach to the lighthouse and back every morning looking for shells and enjoying the cool morning breeze. The condo is nicely decorated and very clean, has everything needed to have a great stay and feel at home. The grounds are beautifully kept and the swimming pool is has crystal clear water. Cannot wait to come back.

We loved the unit because of the first floor convenience. The positives: the beds in the rooms were super comfortable and the apartment is in great shape. The TVs are larger and the internet and cable were great for the kids at night. The negatives: the sofa bed has a terrible mattress it should be replaced, the walk to the beach is long because it’s in building four, the kitchen is not as equipped as other units I have stayed at before.

Unit was not as clean as previous stays in this unit. We spent 45 minutes upon arrival vacuuming and moping the floors. Furniture needs some spot cleaning. One of the bar stools is in need of repair. We like the location of the unit, not likely to stay though of recent condition.

This is our second visit to this resort and there will be many more. The resort is not far from the causeway on the gulf. The unit was a 2/2 on the ground floor not far from the beautiful pool. The accommodation was clean and relaxing with very respectful people around us. I find people who vacation in Sanibel are some of the happiest I’ve ever met. We also were able to bring our wiener dog who really loved the beach. Sanibel is a very dog friendly island with normal guidelines. To finish off I’d love to mention the outstandingly friendly woman who was at the property management company on the causeway where you pick your keys and paperwork and to my joy she was working the follow Saturday when we sadly turned in our keys. I didn’t remember her name but here’s my big thank you! You represent the owners and Sanibel better than anyone could!

We really enjoyed our stay!!! The fact that the condo is supplied with a washer/dryer, beach towels, chairs, etc - - it was LITERALLY all we needed for our stay -- it was peaceful, private & Perfect! The only thing I can think of to help would be a matt going into the porch -to clean your feet.

We have stayed in this unit the last three times we have come to Sanibel Island. Why, because it has everything you would ever need. We loved staying in the rental unit. This was our 2nd year. It was perfect for 5 people ( 2 adults &3 children 16,15,14). It is located in the perfect spot A short walk to the beach and pool. We liked the screened in porch for storing our beach stuff and not tracking all the sand in the condo. Everything was perfect. Clean and decorated very cute. Making our weeks stay very comfortable. It was nice having a washer and dryer to use for washing beach towels and swim suits. The only complaint I have is that the stove was not level and the burners didn’t fit in right so it made your pans sit uneven and slide. Everything else worked fine. It was also nice that the refrigerator had water and ice available. It was nice that the owner provides extra beach chairs available to use.

Ground level units make getting out to the beach and pool so easy, especially when you can do that directly from your lanai where your beach equipment is stored. The owner of #451 has put a lot of thought into what her unit provides so that her guests can enjoy the perfect beach getaway! We stayed at Loggerhead Cay on Sanibel Island for one week in late February. Four adults, two toddlers. The unit felt much more spacious than we expected based on the pictures, with a large living area, a very large master with plenty of space for the king size bed and a travel crib. Two bathrooms were key, especially having one in the hallway vs. attached to a bedroom. The first floor location and lanai was perfect for getting two little ones to the beach and pool. The outside facilities were beautiful and welcoming. We are already planning next year's stay!

We were very pleased with this well maintained and nicely furnished condo. Beach equipment provided was an added plus! The condo is in a great location directly across from the Sanibel Island bridge. It's just a short stroll to the beach on a nicely paved path directly accessed from the lanai. Communication with the owner as well as the managing company was very easy. Would definitely rent again!

The check in process was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The condo itself was very cute and super clean. Probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed on vacation. It had plenty of room, and was well equipped for our week. The resort was very well kept, and the courtyard area was beautifully manicured. There was a paved walking path all the way to the sand, which made getting to the beach super easy. Also really liked the fact there was a shower at the end of the path so you could rinse off before returning to your condo.

Congrats, you are going to Sanibel, don't be so fussy and enjoy!

We loved our stay! But any day on SI is better than not. ;) Never stayed on the East End but it was great! Staff at Sanibel Holiday was extremely nice, even when I complained on day 1. (It was in regards to house keeping. Nothing the owner or Sanibel Holiday could have done any differently. Just needed to be made aware that maybe the cleaning company needed to step up their game.) Maintenance was quick (sliding door issue) and the room was great. Peaceful complex. Clean. Only thing I wished for was a garbage can by the elevator or in the parking area. lol Got to see snakes, lizards, toads, bobcats, turtles and dolphins. First time we have ever seen so much staff present at a resort on the island. Very nice people. Our 2 week stay was wonderful. Just not never long enough. Unit was well stocked, well maintained and plenty of toys and beach necessities. We greatly appreciate the owner opening their home to us.

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful decorated condo directly on the beach. Enough space for the four of us, plenty towels, beach equipment and all we could wish for a relaxing stay.
We enjoyed the pool area and were happy to use the barbecues close to the tennis courts.
The bathrooms and bed linen were spotlessly clean, the floors and kitchen could have been cleaned a bit better. All in all we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this condo.

We loved the condo. First floor was a new experience for our family of six. With all the awesome beach chairs, floats, toys and our shells of course it worked fabulously. The unit is beautifully decorated and we found everything we needed provided. The complex has a lot to offer. We enjoyed the pool the most! Sanibel is our favorite spot to vacation and Loggerhead Cay did not disappoint.

We had a wonderful stay. This is our third time staying at Loggerhead Cay and by far this has been the nicest unit. Well stocked with beach chairs and beach toys if you have kids. The only complaint was that the lighters at the grills didn't work. We went out and bought one in order to start the grill. Very convenient location next to pool and beach! We will be back!

Our family has stayed at Loggerhead Cay several times over the past ten years. In our experiences, all the units in this complex are very clean and spacious. However, I would have to say that this unit is the best one so far. There were many things we liked about this unit. The living room furniture was very comfortable (couches appeared to be fairly new),beds were excellent, TV's in all rooms were newer. The kitchen was stocked with nice Ikea dishes and Farberware cookware. It was wonderful. Very fun beach decor throughout the condo. This unit does get afternoon sun (not morning sun) but there are plenty of areas to sit in the sun with your cup of coffee. Loggerhead is a great family friendly and quiet complex with a beautiful pool area. I strongly recommend Loggerhead Cay Unit 451. Also, the rental company was very accommodating and helpful.

The unit is spacious and the second bedroom had a queen and a twin bed which was perfect for my 3 kids to share. The unit was clean and the pictures on the website are accurate.

Each time we walk into our condo we feel like it's home! The condo is very well furnished, and is updated each year. The property is clean and very well maintained. The beach and pool are right on the property. A short walk or bike ride to local restaurants as well as Periwinkle Road. We have just booked this condo for next year!!
