Description

Villa Sanibel, a small 20 unit complex, is conveniently located on West Gulf Drive with easy access to the bike path, and a short walk or shorter ride to Bailey’s shopping corner that includes groceries, supplies, ice cream, bike rentals, a movie theatre and popular restaurants, including local favorite “Doc Ford’s”. Unit 1H is in the first building, closest to the beach, just a few steps from stairs to sand! This second level unit (sorry, no elevator) includes a loft with twin beds that can be used as a 3rd bedroom. The front door landing is a wonderful place for morning coffee to view the sunrise over the gulf. Unit 1H is nicely updated with a newly remodeled guest bathroom, 3 flat screen TV's, Blu-ray, and Wi-Fi. You will enjoy the colorful Floridian décor, fully equipped kitchen, and lots of beach equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, towels, and toys. Villa Sanibel offers a pool, tennis courts, gas grills (including one next to this unit), and a nearby assigned parking space. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything Sanibel offers within easy reach! ***Please note: Villa Sanibel is a smoke-free property. 1 assigned parking spot per unit. Overflow parking near the tennis courts is limited and not guaranteed.***

We were more than pleased with our stay at 1H. I don't believe I've ever been in a condo on Sanibel that had such a fully stocked kitchen as far as utensils, pot & pans and dishes. We had a little glitch with the oven but it was resolved and we were compensated. We rebooked for next year! There were a couple of things we noticed and we reported to property management and the cleaning lady. The only change we would make is the front door - the blind on the door was a little bothersome as I know there are doors that have blinds inside the windows, but its probably hard to find a good door that can withstand the salt air! Please thank the owner for allowing us to stay in their property.

Villa Sanibel is a special place. Quiet friendly and beautiful. This was the second year in a row my family stayed in this condo and we couldn’t recommend it enough. The only downside was that it was available for next year!

Perfect location to enjoy the island by bikes!! Very clean and great layout!! Upstairs loft has 2 twin beds which eliminates the need of someone sleeping on a pullout couch. Kitchen has everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were abundant.

We love the location of the property. We could see there were improvements in the bedding.

Family vacation, first one since before COVID. First time to Sanibel. Rental was perfect for us. Not the newest but everything was just as we needed. Only thing we could have used was additional soft blankets for master bedroom and pillow cases for extra pillows. Loved location to beach. Neeeded additional chairs bc two were old- however we bought new and left in unit- ENJOY! Loved having outdoor shower at bottom of stairs. Pool was amazing. Staff at Holiday Sanibel very kind helpful

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Sanabel 1H because of its proximity to the beach and great view. A few suggestions to add to the property there are six beds we brought six people there were three beach chairs one was broken all the beach equipment it’s also broken boogie boards and the beach umbrella we are grateful that they provided beach equipment just not adequate amount considering the property sleeps six. The water was shut off most of the week on and off due to maintenance which caused some issues with being able to make meals and shower. There was a full-time resident that lives by the pool that did not make you feel welcome. Also while we were there the garbage disposal had a crack in it so water was everywhere but they did come fix it the next day. We have stayed in the Sanibel units for other times and have not had this problem in the past. We love the location in the quietness of the complex.

This property was so perfect for us. The view from the front porch was beautiful, the proximity to the beach made it easy for our family of 6 to make trips back and forth to the condo as needed and the pool was also super close. We enjoyed the screened patio for evening meals & relaxing. The outdoor closet was stocked with chairs. We were expecting beach toys but there were none, so we just grabbed some from a nearby shop. We had an amazing vacation and already booked for next year :-).

We had a very nice time. This is the second time we have rented that specific unit. Our internet was down for a couple days but that is not fault of anyone. It seems ridiculous that the unit doesn't offer high-def cable service. In this day and age, and with the money we spend on rental costs, you would think high-def TV would be available. I can't imagine it would cost the unit owner much to upgrade the cable service. Also, the bath spigot in the hall bath needs replacing.

Condo was exactly as it looked in the photos. I thought the balcony was an ocean front view, that was my mistake. I had looked at so many before choosing this condo. It was just steps from the sand. The condo was clean and had everything u could think of to use on the beach. My three teenage daughters had a great time.

It can get very confusing very quickly when researching rentals on those larger websites. Our hope is our guests will utilize Sanibel Holiday when searching for the perfect condo for their family and friends. We are a small company by design so we know each our units inside and out and can advise you on the best place the stay. We know just how many units are at each property, what the views are, beach access, if the unit provides beach equipment....I could go on and on! We vacation on Sanibel every year and stay at Villa Sanibel. This year, we stayed in 1H and love everything about it. The unit was clean and well laid out for the vacationer. The furniture was in great condition and very comfortable. We love being only steps away from "toes in the sand" and having access to beach chairs and toys. Although the unit does not have bicycles, we rented some and enjoyed the network of bike paths. Villa Sanibel is only a couple of minutes from shopping, restaurants, grocery, and pharmacy. When in season, don't miss the Sanibel Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. We love Sanibel and appreciate what Villa Sanibel has to offer.

Renting Villa 1H was easy and we loved the space which had plenty of room for our family of 4. Teen and pre-teen got to have their own sleeping space. Clean unit, well stocked with kitchen items, and very clean. Could use a broom so we can sweep up as needed, as there was only a hand brush and dustpan. Loved the bonus beach towels and all the beach supplies. Washer & dryer come in so handy.

The condo was clean and the perfect size for our comfortably slept 3 kids and 3 adults. The location to the beach is ideal! I paced it was 35 steps from the bottom of the steps to the beach. I wish the pool area was a little larger. It got crowded a few times but then again we were there during spring break.

The location is great. Being on the second floor gives a wonderful view of the gulf and beach from the porch, front door and guest bedroom. And it is just a few steps from the beach. Another plus is the loft where 2 people can stay. We appreciate the fact that there are only 20 units, and 2 next to each other so it is private. This unit has had somethings new or redone each time we have been there in the last 7 years so it always looks nice.

We have just stayed in Villa Sanibel 1H. The location is steps from the beach and all the beach equipment is provided.
The condo itself is comfortably furnished and the kitchen well equipped.
It just has everything you need for a great beach holiday.

You couldn’t ask for a better location on the island. Condo was very clean and well equipped. The only bad thing to say about are stay was the water. This was are 3rd stay on the island and it seems every time the water conditions have gotten worse. They are releasing water from lake okeechobee into the bay making the water look terrible. I hope they are able to fix the conditions soon.

We enjoy what this condo has to offer in terms of the location and space. The management staff have always been responsive to our concerns. Our only negatives would be it has that kind of smell of a home that is closed up to long and the carpets are in need of replacement.

We loved this condo! It was just steps from the beach. Very clean and comfortable. Nice, quiet area. We called the manager once and they promptly took care of our concern. Would love to go back next year.

We enjoy what this condo has to offer in terms of the location and space. The management staff have always been responsive to our concerns. Our only negatives would be it has that kind of smell of a home that is closed up to long and the carpets are in need of replacement.

You couldn’t ask for a better location on the island. Condo was very clean and well equipped. The only bad thing to say about are stay was the water. This was are 3rd stay on the island and it seems every time the water conditions have gotten worse. They are releasing water from lake okeechobee into the bay making the water look terrible. I hope they are able to fix the conditions soon.

We just spent a wonderful 3 weeks in Villa Sanibel.
Steps from the beach, shells, sea.
Well equipped and beautifully presented condo with shared pool.
We loved everything about it.

We have just stayed in Villa Sanibel 1H. The location is steps from the beach and all the beach equipment is provided.
The condo itself is comfortably furnished and the kitchen well equipped.
It just has everything you need for a great beach holiday.

The location is great. Being on the second floor gives a wonderful view of the gulf and beach from the porch, front door and guest bedroom. And it is just a few steps from the beach. Another plus is the loft where 2 people can stay. We appreciate the fact that there are only 20 units, and 2 next to each other so it is private. This unit has had somethings new or redone each time we have been there in the last 7 years so it always looks nice.
