Forget that other Holiday rush…the Sanibel Holiday Rush is in full swing!
After the incredible year Southwest Florida tourism had in 2021, it soon became clear that Sanibel would be a popular destination again in 2022. We just didn’t realize it would happen as quickly as it did. We saw an exceptional growth of bookings early in the year and it stayed busy all spring and now into the summer.
We are already booked up for much of the summer and into the fall (Please check with us for last-minute availabilities) so it's time to book your holiday stay and early 2023 trip so you can be sure to get the perfect Sanibel vacation rental!
If your travel plans are flexible, you may want to consider planning your holiday trip for mid-November into Jan but even later in the winter is also a great time to visit! For one thing, our rentals are in a “mid-season” rate And while the island may be cooler (even a little nippy for a few days), it will still feel sunnier and warmer than wherever you are coming from up north.
Another possibility would be February and March. March is a great month for travelers and the weather is getting warmer but not quite humid or rainy. In fact, March and April are amongst the driest months of the year in Florida. There’s also little concern about the “Spring Break” college crowd that you would find in Miami or Daytona Beach. Sanibel and Captiva have a quieter nightlife, with the latest restaurant closing at midnight.
Remember, there’s always more to do on Sanibel than go to the beach!
