Sanibel OutdoorsThings to do on Sanibel

Summer isn’t just a season on Sanibel….it’s an experience! Our summer blog series will highlight all the things you can do when you aren’t enjoying our beautiful beaches! First up, PADDLEBOARDING!

Stand-up paddleboarding, or “SUP”, is a family friendly activity to experience while on Sanibel. Enjoy the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico while enjoying the vibrant ecosystem that southwest Florida has to offer! If you are lucky you may spot sea stars, manatees or even dolphins while you enjoy a great core workout. If you are an adventure seeker you must try the Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail. The trail is a 190-mile marked paddling path that meanders through inland tributaries and coastal waters throughout Lee County. The first portion of the trail flows through Estero Bay, the second drifts by Pine Island and Matlacha Pass, and the third takes paddlers inland to the Caloosahatchee River.

Sanibel Holiday can help coordinate paddleboard rentals or adventures for as little as $30 for 3 hours. Call our concierge service reps today!
